Attention to detail was obvious in every aspect of our stay at Casa Pinto. The rooms are extraordinary in decor and comfort. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and is served in a small dining area. Casa Pinto - not to be missed! Monsaraz is very interesting and we highly recommend both!

Originally we planned to stay our 2 nights at Estalagem de Monsaraz but they were already fully booked for the 2nd night. Fortunately that we had to move & stayed at Casa Pinto. We stayed at the Dili room & regretted that we had not found this hotel before. Every room's decoration is different according to the Portuguese colonised city.... More

The first time we stayed at Casa pinto,we were thrilled with our room, the whole ambience of the place. The room,Dili, has a four poster bed with sheers hanging around so romantic, especially as this was a birthday surprise for me although my partners birthday too.The breakfast extensive and intimate and well stocked and attended.A wonderful visit, so much so,we returned again this year... Monsaraz wasn't in our guidebook but I got a recommendation from the Wine Tasting Center in Evora to visit the area. Casa Pinto is a lovely B&B. The room had a lot of character ranging from the architecture in the bathroom to the poem on the wall. Breakfast was a big spread in a beautiful breakfast area. The decorations in... More

Monsaraz and Casa Pinto are a must visit in Portugal! This small town on the border to Spain is up on a hill. It is beautiful, very well preserved and has such history. As you walk thru the car free cobble streets you can imagine what the village was like hundreds of years ago. The Casa Pinto B&B is right... More

The rooms are very well decorated, nice staff, the waterfall shower is an experience, the balcony was one of the best ever to enjoy the sunset and it self-service bar makes you feel at home. The music always present but the volume just enough to feel it's presence and subtle nice smells all-over. We loved it!

You have to visit this place. Great taste in inrerior design (eventhough i am not a fan if old fashioned, collonial style design i thing it was everythig greatly combined together), very niće staff and GREAT TERRACE on the roof. You can buy some drinks on reasonable price and stay on the terrace looking st the sunsetting sun. Just beautiful.

We stayed in the lovely Moroccan style Asilah room in this beautiful decorated hotel in the center of Monsaraz. Everything was perfect. It’s extremely relaxing being in this hotel: the lounge with books, the small area for breakfast and the nice terrace with an amazing view over Monsaraz and the area. Every night we enjoyed the sunset here with a... More

Great decor, fabulous amenities, enchanting location. This casa should not be missed. The bedrooms are styled in the architecture of some of the former colonies of Portugal: Goa, Macau, Asila, etc. The house and rooms are artistic, comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast is abundant, varied, and made with local produce and goods. The personal attention is superlative. There is... More

Everything was so wonderful that we temporarily forgot we were in Portugal. Don't get me wrong, I love my country, but its rare to find an establishment of such great taste and wonderful service. The whole experience is rather reminiscent of a riad in Marrakech. The five rooms are each decorated differently and each one is wonderful. Makes you want... More
