This is a charming and quaint B&B with only five (double) bedrooms; each room is tastefully decorated with a different theme, e.g. Indian, Moroccan etc. Although there is no car parking as such, we were able to park outside and check in/unload our cases, and then move the car to a nearby, free carpark. This is a very quirky, beautiful... More

This tiny inn ( 5rooms ) is a treasure!!! It is run with the same level of professionalism as you would expect at a luxury resort, yet the owner is very warm and welcoming. The decor Is wonderful and full of charm and character. Each room pays homage to a different former Colony of Portugal. Every room is lovely, creative... More

This was in the centre of town immediately opposite the church. We stayed for one night in Dili which was at the front, and very comfortable with a waterfall shower! Our hosts were friendly and suggested and booked a great restaurant for us. We parked our hire car just outside the town wall because the streets looked a little too... More

Excellent hotel right in the centre of the village. Very friendly welcome. Lots of little touches in the decoration to make it special and create a great ambience. Lovely roof top patio, great view, with honesty bar well priced. Our room was really well decorated with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and very fresh with homemade jams from Spain... From the moment we stepped into the house until we left, everything was great. Upon arrival, we were checked in, then received a nice tour of the B&B. All important information was clearly provided. It was very nice. The terrace (balcony) of the hotel is incredible. I was actually speechless. There is a cute little wine shop a few meters... More

Such a beautiful building, such gorgeous and comfortable rooms - a real treat! Price was relatively high for this part of Portugal, but you could see why - so highly recommended if you want a little indulgence. The old hill top town is beautiful, and there were two or three restaurants open for dinner when we were there, but being... More

This is one of the most gorgeous hotels we've stayed in, especially for the price. We really enjoyed the well-decorated interior of the Casa Pinto. The room and bathroom were romantic and evocative. We spent many hours on the rooftop patio with cheese and a bottle of wine. The town itself was gorgeous, though a stay of one night or... More

Probably the most beautiful guesthouse we ever stayed at during our many wanderings. Casa Pinto is perfect in every aspect. The location of course, Monsaraz...charming wall town with great views over the Alentejo valley. The décor: each room is splendid & carefully decorated with attention to every single details. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the luxury linens so soft... More

This place is too difficult to describe - from the outside, it just looks like another ordinary small pension. But the rooms, outfitted in a vaguely African-inspired look are splendid. Ours (center of the top floor) was so great - including the nifty 'waterfall' shower, where a stream pouring off a stone ledge takes the place of the usual shower... More

A good place to stay if you plan to explore the area around Monsaraz and the Great Lake. Located in the center of Monsaraz, each room is decorated according to the name of a city or place from the former Portuguese empire (in our both stays we chose the Mombasa room). The decorating details and room design are of the... More
