Cleverly tucked away in the beautiful Provencal town of Grignan, this hotel is pure luxury, exquisite bedrooms, tastefully decorated and delicious, gourmet food served in a magnificent orangerie, or outside on the terrace in warmer months!

Beautiful hotel and excellent value. Great breakfast, very pleasant room and wonderful service. Restaurant also very good. The town is small but very nice to explore as are others around it - good walking too.

This has to be one of the best hotel's we have ever visited. Our garden cottage room was incredibly romantic. Very private and with a beautiful view from the terrace of the old town. We had fabulous dinners with surprising and incredibly ingenious courses that tantalised the taste buds. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it... More

This hotel goes 'above and beyond' the call of duty. We had the sense that everyone on staff wanted to give you the memory of a lifetime. It was certainly that for us. The Michelin star chef created food we will never forget: astonishing in terms of flavour and artistic presentation. Don't miss the food if you come here! The... More

The experience in both the hotel where we stayed 3 days and at the restaurant was our best time in France. Great staff available for your every need, and superb food. Our favorite place for dinner was the green house that took us back in time. The room was very comfortable and felt real at the same time, with beautiful... More

Beautiful place to spend one or two nights. The service is flawless and facilities are well kept. It's a gorgeous old house, full of old fashioned/sophisticated decoration but with all the modernity one could wish. The whole place smells good of herbs. The bed was great, although very small, the bathroom was well equipped. The tub's really narrow... We had... More

Sadly stayed only one night in this wonderful character hotel. Full of the essence of France so roomy and comfortable and attention to detail was amazing. The night before we arrive, received an extremely detailed e-mail re the hotel, services and instructions. Was very helpful. Aircon such a bonus as nights can be still and warm in Europe. We stayed at this delightful hotel for five nights this August (2013). The service was gracious, the room (Sud) comfortable and spacious, and the meals in the restaurant outstanding! Grignan is such a charming, welcoming little village that we only made two side trips during our stay. Although this was peak season, the streets never seemed crowded and the merchants... More

An absolutely lovely spot to stay, we'll worth the detour, with a fabulous restaurant to go with it. Attentive service and attention to detail. We only stayed 1 night but I wish we had of stayed 2. Definitely reserve yourself a table in the garden and enjoy dinner by a Michelin starred Chef - excellent food and wine.

We stayed at Le Clair de la Plume for one night on our drive down to the Bouches de Rhone area. Very charming and welcoming. Our first floor room (Anne) was spacious and very nicely furnished in a style in keeping with the age of the property. Good bathroom, separate toilet. Air conditioning was lovely given the very warm weather.... More
