My husband and I spent three days at this delightful hotel. The hostess spoke perfect English, her knowledge of the area was exceptional and she was happy to share it and give places to go and see. Our room was large, extremely comfortable bed and the bathroom was modern with great fixtures. Our room had a balcony which overlooked an... more

We booked this after having read comments on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The proprietor Stephane was very welcoming, and helpful - his recommendation for restaurants were good. One particularly so, opposite the theatre, - atmospheric, informal, and run by a character from Brittany and his wife. Good food and terrific value. However, it may not be very child... more

My wife and I recently visited this hotel and absolutely loved it. Tarascon is a very small town located between Avignon and Arles. The town itself is small and quaint - and is authentic with seemingly few tourists. Accessibility is good with trains running about every hour to hour and half. The train trip to both Avignon and Arles is... more

Amazing hotel, it is just like a mini castle with cosy, comfortable environment. The breakfast is a relaxing time where one has the chance of meeting the other guests and exchange travel experiences or simply enjoys the chill out music played in the background while having the famous French croissants. The hotel has a living room with many books and... more

I discovered Hotel de Provence through Tripadvisor and we decided to stay there because of the favorable comments posted at this website. We were not disappointed and found the hotel to be a haven after a heavy day of touring. We were lucky to be able to arrive without a reservation and were taken in and given a lovely spacious... more

A very comfortable hotel in a central location. The rooms are beautifully furnished with charming antiques and collectables. The breakfasts were great with interesting chatting round the large table. Our host was most helpful and she speaks English as well. more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in May 2008. This is such a cute hotel. The hotel itself, as well as the rooms, are decorated with all sorts of antiques and knick-knacks that add a lot of charm. The room and bathroom were surprisingly large for a European hotel. The owners were very nice, spoke excellent English,... more

This is an oasis capably managed by an angel. She pays great attention to guest needs and comfort, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast was diverse with many traditional and extra selections. The patio, living room, and reading rooms were extra special places to spend time and the bedroom... more

this is a very nice hotel in the town of tarascon. if you are visiting Provence and dont want to stay in one of the main cities like Avignon and instead would like to stay in a boutique hotel in the small town in the middle of everything, this is a great choice. The owner/manager is very nice and knowledgable... more
