The hotel offers excellent value for money and is well located in the small town. The proprietors speak good English, and are obviously proud of their region, and eager to show off its many assets. They offer great advice on how to plan itineraries.

We stayed three nights in this hotel. Let me begin by saying the hosts should be working in a much grander hotel. They are exactly what you want for hosts! The hotel was comfortable (we had the suite, with balcony). August in the South of France can be hit. It was steamy during our stay. The air conditioning was wonderful.... More

We were in this lovely hotel for a week and would come back any time. A traditional, historic building, in a quiet little town. The rooms are full of local, vintage charm and the owners are very helpful, welcoming people. Tarascon has good connections for visiting western Provence, even without a car.

We stayed for 1 night on our way back to Nimes airport, but wished it could have been longer.. Lovely traditional building, beautifully furnished. Our room was of a good size with large terrace/balcony. The owner was very attentive and gave us a restaurant recommendation which proved to be excellent. Hotel well positioned for Tarascon castle and old town. Good... More

Our stay at Hotel Provence was so amazing and Antoine and his hospitality made it even better. The directions to the hotel were clear and we checked in easily with Antoine. He recommended dinner spots, cities nearby to visit and attractions like local markets and beaches. He was always eager to help and suggest anything we might need including providing... More

How to improve on all those wonderful reviews? Lovely people, lovely hotel with so much character and comfort, but pity about the town. Don't go on a Monday when there;s only one restaurant open and Tuesday not much better. Don't let that put you off but go over the bridge for lots of restaurants.

I stayed for a month at this hotel for a business trip. This hotel is very remarkable. The atmosphere so comfortable like home. The rooms were tidy and clean. You can eat breakfast in a big table with all the guests in the hotel, but it's ok, they're all very friendly. The hotel owner was very friendly too and they... More

Lovely "Vieux Maison de Ville" turned into the most charming hotel. Actually, it is really a B&B as there is no other meal options other than breakfast. But saying that, it so clean, friendly and very comfortable. The patron and his wife were so helpful. He even moved his car so as we could park opposite. Our room was lovely,... More

A beautiful Mansion with comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, and up to date modern bathrooms. Breakfast as delicious as it gets with wonderful fellow travelers. Wifi included. But best of all some of the nicest hosts in all of France.
