First thing we noticed arriving at the hotel was that we had to walk with our luggage from a parking situated a few hundred meters away. Arriving at the reception it's safe to say it was under staffed. Only 1 receptionist attending to several guests. Next deception was the room. Several things that you would expect from a 5 star... I've been visiting a lot of hotels all over the world. Many of them with five stars and with great reviews. So I was really excited of visiting this five star hotel and had high expectations of both the staff and the facility. I was truly disappointed. I have never meet such rude and ignorant staff in my whole life.... More

This hotel is backed by the fragrance brand L'Occitane! I would have expected so much more with these credentials. The hotel is a combination of old and very new. The hotel lobby is quite modern and mostly pink. Our room #114 was very tiny and the view was a Very small courtyard with very Offensive green furniture. No view of... More

Dear valuable guest, Thank you so much to take the time sharing your experience. It's really a shame if the only feedback is flies. We are in a countryside, in the nature. Sheep are around and when we have them we do have some flies. Your room was the 104 and not the 114. We upgrade you. We are really... More

If you want a Relais & Châteaux model hotel, this is the one to go to. Built in an old convent and surrounded by fields and vines, this relatively new hotel felt more clean and modern than most newly built hotels. It excelled in almost every aspect, except perhaps for the Wifi which was rather weak. The hotel's facilities and... More

Two stays over the years (2012, 2013) and this place has something truly unique. The grounds are gorgeous (climb the stairs!), the building full of history, the courtyard superb (prior and after they covered it). rooms are comfy and quiet and well furnished, main concern is their relative small size (below the suite threshold) which makes it a pain in... Stayed here while traveling through the south of France. Beautiful accommodations. A wonderful place to stay and pamper yourself in the beautiful french countryside of Provence. The food/restaurant at this spa are marvelous. A perfect place to treat oneself.

The hotel is gorgeous! It mixes the old and the new, the restaurant is great, the spa is also very nice. But we did not get lucky with our room. First it has no windows. One of the walls looks into a smoking lounge! The room is very tiny, did not fit our luggage. The bathroom walls are made out... More

We spent three nights. The hotel is lovely. The grounds and the building are gorgeous. The cloisters of the convent have been converted to a grand living room in pink and green with skylight. Relaxing, timeless. A place to forget the worries of life and just relax. Sometimes that takes a couple of days, but here, the rest of the... More

Property is absolutely stunning with amazing lobby, pool and spa areas and lots of areas to sit out and relax. Local village, Mane, isn't nice but local town, Forcalquier, is busier and has a few nice shops and restaurants. We ate in 9 restaurant one night. Service in the hotel is of mixed quality.
