An absolutely beautiful hotel right in the middle of the provence. The hotel itself is luxurious and the entire staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and quiet and the pool is so relaxing. We ate breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. The lobby is very peaceful and the design is very well done The restaurant... More

we spent one night at le couvert, my husband and I and our 11 year old. we booked a suite, thinking we would have an abundance of space (we booked on the phone and arrived the same day having no Internet access whilst we travelled). the price, 1100 euros, led us to believe that we would be arriving to sink... We were switched to the Couvent des Minimes at short notice when our hotel turned out to be overbooked. In the past we used to be great Relais et Chateaux fans. This must rank among the very best we have stayed in and for quality of service and value for money is as good as any of the Leading Hotels... More

Couvent Minimes is a stunning hotel, and really captures the "luxury" that the South of France can be. Great dining services with excellent food. Rooms are large, clean and beautiful. But i'm sure this has been touched on many times before. One of my favourite parts, was that the town featuring Couvent minimes was the birth place of the skincare... More

This place is paradise however be prepared to pay for it. The setting is truly remarkable and the service is what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The rooms are very chic and the pool area is lovely. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel, and the nearby village of Mane... More

This hotel is class all the way. From the decor to the amenities to the lovely people, it was one of the most memorable experiences during my recent travels through Europe. The pool is stunning , grounds are picturesque and so peaceful! The town is adorable with lots of farmers markets and close to the lavender fields in Valensole. If... More

My wife and I were just completely blown away by how secluded and romantic this resort is. The recent modernization has really made this place one of a kind. We upgraded to a deluxe suite, which I HIGHLY recommend. The suite had its own massive private balcony with a tub the size of a regular room. If you're looking for... More

This hotel is nicely presented and the service is very good. The lobby and bar area is very spacious and while the furnishing is really interesting, lacks some warmth. Travelling with a friend, we therefore requested separate single rooms and found them rather small. We were also up several flights of stairs which must be the only location for single... More

The look and feel was great - a stylish combination of the old convent characteristics and a sleek modern style. Lovely views and gardens giving you the essence of the Haute Provence. Staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Food and (local) wines in the bistro and restaurant were exceptional.

We went specifically for spa treatments and did not stay in the hotel. We had about a 3 hour drive and upon arrival they went out of their way to make us lunch...even though the kitchen wasn't open yet. The spa experience was great...however...no one speaks great English here. You can get by...but be prepared to have a difficult time.... More
