This boutique hotel is a treasure in the middle of the Provence. The little touches around every room and corridor brought the hotel to live. The owner and his wife added additional personality and colour, they were excellent guides for our stay. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the breakfast and the terrace were lovely and I know for... More

We have just spent a few days at Le Cadran Soleil. Excellent rooms with nice touches. Superb continental breakfast with something different every day (fresh pineapple, cheese, breads). The host and hostess are just delightful, offering suggestions for dining and exploring. Lots of good places to eat nearby and perfect for Arles, Avignon and Aix.

This is one of those times where you are driving up a road toward the destination you found on Trip Advisor and and wonder, "did I select the right place?" But then, you reach the driveway and look in and say, "wow!" It looks better than the web site! Are you looking for a quiet place, just off the beaten... More

We spent 8 wonderful days at Le Cadran Solaire in June this year. It is a truly exceptional small hotel, very well located for touring the western part of Provence. We were primed by a glowing recommendation from close friends and were delighted to find it more than lived up to our expectations. The hotel itself is a charming and... More

I can confirm all the wonderful things other reviewers said about this delightful and charming B&B and its host and hostess. But I would like to add some words about its location. You can base your entire Provence trip from here. It is minutes away from St. Remy (perhaps the most delightful town in Provence); perhaps 15 minutes from Les... More

We were a group of 8, spending 6 days in Provence. Our travel agent booked this small hotel and it definitely set the bar for the rest of our stay in France. What delightful hosts Elisa and Jean Claude are!!! They seem to love meeting guests and trying to make their stay perfect. The peace and quiet of this little... More

For charm, comfort, cleanliness and good value, Le Cadran Solaire is hard to beat. I wish it were easy to find its match in other parts of France . I and 3 friends spent a week there in mid September - to visit Provence and do a little sketching in the nearby countryside. We were all surprised and delighted by... More

We are an American family visiting Provence for the first time. From the moment the wrought iron gates swing open and you drive through the lovely garden and walk into the beautifully decorated French country interior, you know this will be a nice stay. The building is centuries-old--it was part of a castle that no longer exists, then became a... More

We recently spent 5 nights at this wonderful hotel on recommendations from friends. The owners truly are people that enjoy what they do. Very helpful with facts, stories, trip suggestions or just a good conversation. The location is great as a hub to explore the region, from the coast to the mountains. Recommend it highly!

We have stayed in the delightful Cadran Solaire for 3 holidays in the past few years. Jean Claude and Elisa couldn't be more kind or accomodating. The house is stunningly beautiful, an old silk mill originally. The rooms we have stayed in (4 different ones) are all beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and tastefully furnished with antiques. Breakfast is lovely.... fresh... More
