My husband and I have been coming here for 10 years now at least once a year for our anniversary. We ALWAYS stay in the Garden Cottage, so I can't attest to the other rooms, but we love staying here. The inn keeper is a very nice man and the breakfast is always delicious. The room is right downtown, so... More

room was good, needed larger bath towel's, and curtains were not room darkening. railroad was 2 blocks away shook whole room, bell tower of museum was literally next door and rang every hour. Price was good and location in reference to town was excellent. Breakfast was good!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Secret Vine B&B. It was our second time staying in the Garden Cottage and we absolutely loved it! The bed was so comfy and we loved the jacuzzi. The location was great! We were within walking distance to the train station, trolley stop, and many cute shops and restaurants. I... More

I am 43 years old and my significant other is 56. This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The GT suite was dirty, stained, and generally unattractive. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever stayed in. The only decent quality of the place was the location.

Others call it quaint, I call it run down. Looked like it was furnished from a Goodwill store. Couch looked old and worn, ditto other furniture. It was clean and very convenient location, otherwise I'd pass, there are other much better B&Bs with just as good locations. Breakfast not served in the room until 9:30 so if you like to... More

This was our second time at the Secret Vine. We have gone to October fest a few times and one of the great thing about the Bed and breakfast is that it is close to many of the activities. We will defiantly come here again.

I had booked tickets on the Amtrak to visit Hermann without knowing this was one of the busiest times of the year. When I started looking for rooms in the town, none were to be found, except for this one and for only 1 night. I was happy to get it and my expectations were very low. For someone wanting... More

This was our 1st experience with a B&B and a first time for Hermann. What a wonderful & friendly community. Lots to see and do. The wineries were fantastic and the Trolley Service is a definite "must try". My wife & I stayed in the Tuscany suite. It was quaint, simple, and clean. The suite is a bit dated but... More

Very disappointed with the room. Pictures on website a little deceiving. Breakfast was lacking in quality and doesn't get served til 9:30. We are earlier risers than that. Garden area and proximity to historic area were very nice. All were within walking distance.

If you are expecting a 4 star hotel from your B&B you will not get it here. However, I was not looking for that and I enjoyed my stay immensely. The room was bright, quaint and cozy. The innkeeps were knowledgeable and friendly. The location was ideal. I loved the sitting areas set up outside. The owners also run the bike... More
