Hands down the best place to stay in Hermann. Just minutes from the city, the place made us feel like we were in beautiful woods somewhere far away. The breakfast was so great I would come back even just for their food. Kate and Adrian were such nice, friendly people and we felt so welcomed. The rooms are cozy and... More

I cannot say enough about this place. It is absolute perfection! My boyfriend and I stayed overnight for my birthday and the entire experience was amazing. We had the four course dinner and everything was perfect. Kate is an incredible chef! I will be dreaming of that savory cheese pie for weeks to come! We then went to the wine... More

Such an amazing stay once again. We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversay and met some of the nicest people. Our experience in the wine cellar for the port tasting and homemade chocolates was such a lovely way to end the day. The breakfasts are simply to die for. You never leave hungry that's for sure. And Kate and Adrian just... More

My husband and I spent two comfortable evenings and days in October,2014 at the Alpenhorn. In addition, we were lucky enough to secure a dinner spot on a Friday night, and were thrilled with the excellent food served. Breakfasts are astonishing. The 19th century farm home is architecturally pristine, but the furnishings are comfortable and modern, reminding me of the... More

First off talk about feeling relaxed! Wow the property is so peaceful, but still very close to all the wineries in Hermann. We have stayed here twice and both times it was the best experience my wife and I have ever had on a getaway. The food is outstanding! Make sure you do the dinner. Also we have done the... More

Delightful proprietors in a beautiful location. This place has charm and character. It encompasses all the allure of wine country. The rooms had an old world feel. The food was amazing. I certainly will visit again and will bring friends.

I can't say enough nice things about staying at this B&B in Hermann! We stayed two nights in July and had a wonderfully fun and relaxing time. The owners happened to be going out of town when we arrived, so we only got to meet them briefly, but the staff they left in charge of the place were fabulous. Very... More

We've been to the Alpenhorn enough times now that we've stayed in every room! After our first stay, we were hooked- we can't imagine staying anywhere else in Hermann. The inn is up on a hill just a short distance out of town, so it's a quiet but convenient setting. You can reserve Das Kleine Haus (a tiny, self-contained house),... More

Adrian and Kate are wonderful hosts who make a wonderful 3 course gourmet breakfast. Their B&B on their farm is quiet, relaxing and immaculate. We loved the jacuzzi and the wine cellar was so romantic where we had the chocolate and port wine tasting. We highly recommend this B&B in lovely Hermann, MO where you will find many wine tastings...
