My gal pals from Kansas and I stay in Hartsburg every fall after biking the Katy trail. We stay at the Globe every year. This year there were new owners and we weren't sure what to expect. Mark and Leaia were awesome! They were fun and made us feel right at home. We loved sitting around a fire in the... More

I had an excellent two nights at the Globe with innkeepers Mark and Leiea tending to our every need. The food was wonderful and the company even better. So relaxing after walking hours on the trail. I highly recommend The Globe B&B Hotel.

Come back to the Globe B & B! Three friends and I stayed at the Globe last weekend. It was a wonderful experience. Mark and Leaia have kept the charm of this home but are bringing really great changes. Their hospitality and cooking cannot be beat. The beds were comfortable, the shower hot, and the lemonade refreshing. We enjoyed relaxing... More

We thought Mark was very gracious and friendly and caring for his residents. The meal that he and his wife prepared was at most a feast. It was way too much food but good. Their restoration is very obvious and we know what it was like before. We anticipate this becoming a true 5 star hotel. We were also met... More

The new owners, Mark and Leaia, are wonderful. We were met with cold lemonade and cookies which we enjoyed on the porch after 60 miles on the KATY. The rooms and bathrooms have been renovated. The rest of the hotel is a work in progress. Very comfortable and quiet. The gourmet breakfast, prepared by Mark was 5 stars. Whether you... More

Family vacation on the KT, first stop the Globe B&B. No expectations of our stay other than a hot shower, comfy beds and breakfast in the morning. Our stay was so much more – our rooms had the Victorian flare, yet cozy and comfortable, fresh cookies awaited us on our night stands (squeals of delight from the kids!!), carafes of... More

As new owners of this historic old hotel, Mark and Lealia say they are trying for warm hospitality, great food and a very good value. We say: SCORE!!! This place was all we hoped for after a long day pedaling on the KATY. From the moment of our arrival at the lovely old inn--which was run as a hotel from... More

Just got home from a bike trip on the KATY trail where a real highlight was the welcome we received from Mark and Leaia at the Globe B&B in Hartsburg. They are new owners--busy with moving in their own belongings and a bit of redecorating--but they were nothing short of gracious in every way. We enjoyed visiting, sharing a piece... More

Mark & Leaia are the new owners of the Globe Hotel B&B and are amazing hosts. From the homemade lemonade and snacks as you get off the trail to the made to order omelets in the morning. They will even coordinate dinner for you if you request it as there aren't many options in Hartsburg after 2pm. As a long... More

We spent two nights with Mark and Leaia at the Globe B&B on our recent Katy Trail out and back ride. I can't say enough good things about their warm hospitality and attention to guests' needs. We really did feel as if we were staying at a friend's home and not just customers at a commercial lodging. The Globe is... More
