This was our first stay in Hanibal and the hotel was perfect for our brief stay. Because I had checked through TripAdvisor we were aware of the train noise (which wasn't a problem for us) and re-quested the top (3rd) floor overlooking the river. There was plenty of parking just a few blocks from hotel for catching trolley & river... More

This hotel was a bit dismal and smelled strongly of chlorine throughout due to the pool being in the middle of the hotel. However it is in a good position for seeing the Mark Twain etc sights. River view does have train noise but not enough to disturb. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Small bathroom but adequate. Good towels.... More

This is a great hotel. Clean, friendly, and comfortable. Yes, they railroad tracks are a couple of blocks away, but I could barely hear them and it didn't both my stay at all. I recommend this hotel. I'm told I must have 200 characters, so I hope this last sentence puts me over that limit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! When arriving back at the end of the evening, we did have to park on the street; but that was a very minor inconvenience. (A couple large trucks that night made a couple spaces too small for us to use.)

We were very pleased with the cleanliness. The beds were comfortable and clean. This hotel is within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. If there was a drawback it would be that the inside pool is in the middle and if you are sensitive to chlorine, this might not be your hotel. Other than that we were very pleased... More

Reading reviews leaned toward the good side so we decided to stay here. We were given a river-view room. We were warned that passing trains along the river could be disruptive during the night but they supplied ear plugs if desired. We are accustomed to trains and did not use plugs. The train noise was barely noticeable at any time... More

We were a little nervous about this hotel after reading previous reviews but our fears were unfounded. The hotel has a great location and everything is well-cared for. The noise from trains and traffic was not a problem. We weren't even aware of it. The accommodations were just slightly above average but it is definitely a good value for the... More

Made a last minute reservation here in the morning and was allowed to check in almost two hours early. The room was spotless and the staff was by far the most friendly and helpful that I encountered out of the 9 motel/hotels I stayed in on my cross country trip. The breakfast was on par with or better than most... More

This Hotel met our expectations of cleanliness and the room was comfortable. The pool opens up pretty early in the morning and all the rooms are open to the pool/lobby area. This is a pretty noisy place to be when kids are in the pool. The free breakfast was disgusting. The service was average, but we didn't mind because we... More

Staff was pleasant and helped locate where to park our car & trailer. They gave wonderful advice about where to eat; were right on regarding the excellence of the restaurant. Room was reasonable considering its Mississippi River view. We had a large room; very nice accommodations. Breakfast was better than the average for "free hotel breakfasts." The egg cheese-ham rounds... More
