Was greeted at door by older woman who read from a piece of paper about the b&b saying she was new and was unable to answer questions. Plant and flower overgrowth was partially blocking pathway to entrance. Never saw Chris the innkeeper except to collect money. We reserved east room for the price of $110 and if we paid cash... More

The home was decorated very nicely. The outside garden was beautiful, however, overgrown. The owner greeted us warmly and gave us a fascinating history of the house. We didn't learn until the next morning that the house is haunted, but we had no obvious encounters. The room was clean and decorated very nicely. The beds were very comfortable and the... More

We always strive to make everything perfect for our guests stay. The house and gardens are at their best during the growing season...our local native wildflowers take over the gardens which we enjoy! The breakfast is portioned controlled; nothing pre-made. Selection varies daily. We are glad this guest enjoyed the house, bed, house tour and gardens. Tang? (do they ever... More

We were having a very small wedding so we chose the Garden House because of the great package they offer. Chris, the owner, organised everything for us so we had nothing to do ourselves but bring along our marriage licence! We had such a wonderful day. Chris was so helpful, accommodating and friendly. It really helped to make our day... More

The Garden House is possibly the most "user friendly" B&B we have stayed in. The public rooms are comfortable and inviting to sit and browse through books and magazines, water and snacks are offered in the rooms, and overall we had a very relaxing experience. Obviously the winter had not been kind to the house (yes the porch needs some... More

The attention to detail that these guests had was great! We talked on the phone, emailed and the bride to be actually came over from Ireland to visit with us before her wedding date! We made their Wedding day as seamless as possible..all details where handle by us so the couple just could be themselves and enjoy the day. The... More

I never leave feedbacks on Trip Advisor, but this time I felt I must. If you are going to Hannibal and are wanting to stay at an average B and B, with quiet rooms, Whispering hosts, and Boring Conversation, then DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the absolute, without a doubt, most fun -B and B you will ever stay... More

This is a wonderful get-away for humans & pets alike. I couldn't be more grateful for the warm hospitality towards us and our dog. The breakfasts were yummy, and ambiance a regal break from the norm. Bed was soft, house was quiet, bathroom was clean, shower was a luxury! Thanks to owner Chris for a lovely weekend stay. We hope... More

We were very fortunate to have Chris and Arif open the Garden House to our tour group in December for the specially arranged Hannibal Historic Homes Tour. He openly shared his family photos and his time in the military and answered all the questions our group members asked. They felt very welcomed and enjoyed the beautifully painted rooms, especially the... More

We stayed at the Garden House for a treat....our 4th wedding annivetsary. So glad we did. It was lovely. The place is beautiful. Our king size bed was so very comfortable, warm & cozy. Best nights sleep in awhile. Chris, the owner made a great breakfast in the morning. He knows so much about Hannibal. Very interesting man. Had dinner... More

This is a beautiful house located in a great area. The people are knowledgeable and welcoming. My dinner at LaBinnah Bistro was one of the best meals I've ever had in Hannibal. The service was prompt and amiable! Thanks Chris and Arif for a wonderful time!
