This place was outdated and filthy. There were stains on the floors, walls, and furniture. The bathroom floor was sticky and the stool lid was stained. The rooms were small and the double beds were hard and uncomfortable. The workmanship and maintenance was poor. The caulking and paint jobs were sloppy, a shim under the small room refrigerator was a... More

Courteous and helpful staff. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. WiFi was generally good with occasional problems. Very nice pool area. Large well kept pool, great spa. Breakfast okay. Decent value accommodation. But in the interest of full disclosure, no surprises, this property is very dated so anyone expecting new and sparkling will... More

Appeared to be hotel that "used to be really nice at one time", but now is struggling to make it. Small things like 1.) Cigarette holes in the throw pillows 2.) when you turned the water on, the entire fitting moved to expose a big hole 3.) "Breakfast included" not worth your time, easier to walk to gas station in... 1st, the outside looks like a old abandon hotel. No signage in front of building or in doors of drive up lobby. 2nd, this is no way near the river or any Mark Twain sites. Very hard to find even with GPS. 3rd pool/Rec/Picnic area is surranding the pool is old, cracked, pealing paint concreat. Not safe for slippery wet... More

This hotel used to have an outdoor pool. Until one day someone got the bright idea to put a roof over the courtyard and voila, advertise "Indoor pool" to unsuspecting Americans. Do not be fooled, the water still feels like an outdoor pool. I can't wait to see what the "hot breakfast" is like in the morning. We requested a... More

We came because we wanted an affordable room with access to a pool. The "indoor" pool has no temperature control and is surrounded by a slick unsafe deck surface which my son slipped on while standing still. The room itself is behind the times by only a few decades. Old, broken furniture and mildew stained tile complete the seedy "Rockford... More

The room was dirty and the floor was wet and sticky. The shower was luke warm and there was mold abd crime everywhere in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken and unattached on one side. Both beds were broken and lumpy, if you sat on one side without someone to balance the other you would fall to the floor.... More

Stayed there again over the weekend. Less than a dozen people in the whole place, but pool and facility was spotless. Staff the same as last summer, remembered me. Fabulous pool and hot tub, actually the best I've seen in any hotel pool. Wish the ping pong table was set up, my teen boy thinks he can beat me now.... More
