First and foremost, contact the hotel directly. That saved me $23/night. The room was nice. It smelled brand new. Carpet was good. Bed was good. Fridge was nice and big enough to hold a pizza box, 2-liters, and misc. Really nice room. Fair customer service. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed at the Oak Tree Inn for 2 days. The first night we did not arrive till late. They had to call and check with someone to even see if our room was even ready. I have previously stayed in this motel before and had experienced no real issues. However, this time when I called to check availability, the front desk was very uncourteous and in fact really downright rude. It was a major inconvienence for the woman to check availablity of rooms. Actually, she informed me that there were no room available at all.... more
