In Columbia for the weekend with our grandson. When traveling I always stay at Marriott properties, usually around 50-60 nights a year for work. So I was rather surprised to find that this property was not up to what I have found in other Marriott properties, especially Residence Inns. The room carpet ended to be cleaned. I'm not sure it... This was a really nice property. We visited this hotel as a part of a college visit. it was clean, and the staff was friendly. The only issue we had was the room was noisy from the road traffic (next to I-70). We will stay at this hotel again. My son will be attending this school in the fall and... More

Thank you so much for staying with us, your comments are very important to us. I understand you were on happy with the sounds from the I70 and believe me I understand. We are hoping this summer that when they remodel our hotel they place in thicker glass to try to muffle out the sound of the highway. Otherwise we... More

We checked in and requested an upgrade per our elite status. Declined! Reason: we should have asked for it way earlier, before showing up at 6 pm, which we always thought is against Marriott policy by the way, as guests can only request for room upgrades AT THE TIME of checking in!? The next morning, as we left the room... More

I have to say that our son got us these reservations on his huge Marriott points, and we are frequent Marriott flyers, but we did not love this property. The staff was very pleasant, and the breakfast was satisfactory. But the bed was awful! First, it was a double, not a queen, and we are not comfortable In a double... More

The room was fine and the morning breakfast was more than adequate. If staying here be sure to get a room facing the front as there is NO sound insulation and the traffic noise is terrible in the rear rooms. My profile requests a 1st floor room but I ended up in a 3rd floor overlooking the interstate. The traffic... More

Not clean (mirror, bathroom, bed, furniture) and some appliances did work. This room was not worth the price. Other Residence Inns I have stayed at were nice but this one was not. It was not disgusting but for $150 a night it was not nice or clean enough.

Just a couple dog hairs in the room but the luggage cart was covered in it. Sadly I didn't notice until we hauled our luggage & it was stuck to everything. Hot tub was out of order also. Staff seemed nice & the breakfast had a lot to pick from.

The Columbia, MO, Residence Inn is a terrific place for a family or business person to stay. Clean rooms! Excellent TV and internet reception! Sensitive and capable staff! Great breakfast buffett with pleasant breakfast area staff. Front desk folks welcomed us with a pleasant greeting, prompt room assignment, and easy check-out. Later reminded us of cookies available with a smile.... More

The small bedroom w/the adjoining kitchen/living room was nice & comfortable. The highway noise was very noticeable as well as the noise from the a/c unit. However, if you can sleep through anything, this place is convenient. The complimentary breakfast was good & they kept it well stocked.

Our family arrived late when traveling through Columbia and the front desk lady was so very nice and accommodating. She made us feel very welcome. We got to our room and for a Residence Inn, this room wasn't quite what I expected as it was a bit dated, worn and needed a facelift. The front of one of the nightstands... More
