I had already visited the Lodge years ago but was keen to experience it again. From the moment we were collected from our Cairns hotel by Irene, the level of service we received was exceptional. The flight with Hinterland Aviation was smooth and we were met upon arrival at Mt Louis Airport by Shane who introduced himself, shook our hand... More

Bloomfield lodge is a beautiful remote location on the northern edge of Daintree rainforest. Nowhere else in the world do you find 2 World Heritage listed sites sit side by side – The Daintree forest and the Great Barrier Reef. The exceptional friendly staff greet you warmly from the moment you arrive at the VIP lounge to board your privately... More

Full of superlatives, Bloomfield does exactly what it says in the brochures. Relaxing, remote, luxurious with highly trained staff all of whom have the same infectious enthusiasm for the place. Beautiful spotless rooms. We met some delightful, interesting people from all over and loved the communal dining idea. Food was top restaurant quality, dining in the open in front of... More

The hotel has a very nice atmosphere created by management but most of all guests, because most people eat together - with large tables - meals. There are organized interesting trips on the river with crocodiles and a walk through the forest. to go to the nearby beach you have to pay extra AUD 30 per transfer the river. The... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit to Bloomfield Lodge. We were delighted that overall you enjoyed the atmosphere of Bloomfield and enjoyed the company of our other guests and especially our social dining arrangements. As we are located in the Daintree Rainforest, the oldest surviving rainforest in the world, it is a stunningly beautiful and... More

The most amazing place I've been to. It surpassed all expectations. Absolutely beautiful setting, brilliant staff, delicious food. Expensive but well worth the money. We went for four nights at the end of a long trip to New Zealand and Australia. The highlight of the trip was the reef trip, we were taken to a small island, surrounded by coral... More

We spent four nights at Bloomfield Lodge Jan 2015. You travel by small plane from Cairns to a jungle landing strip only recently tarmaced, a short mini bus ride and then a boat ferries you to this isolated lodge. You are welcomed at a large open sided building with small swimming pool and bar. You walk to your lodge through... More

Bloomfield was a wonderful experience. We stayed here 3 nights, before Christmas. The place was busy but not full. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Hideaway suite, which had glorious views of the water and the forest, with a really comfortable bed, day bed, Jacuzzi, kitchenette and a big bathroom. Right from the moment you are picked... More

The combination of knowledgeable and attentive staff, great location, well appointed rooms and generally first class food, coupled with the absence of internet, mobile phone and TV reception made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We left feeling as though we had been away for far more than 5 days. The opportunity exists to do as much (rainforest walks, visits... More

Love love love this place. The staff are amazing, intuitive to individual needs & Courteney, the manager is obsessive (on the verge of being OCD which is only good for demanding guests which there were a few during our stay!!) to make everything perfect. The food is well balanced & the chef/staff caters for fussy eaters (I had food envy... More
