Our unit was very clean, good beds with nice linens, large fridge and stove. A rustic resort that has a lot going for it. Owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. Can't say enough...we will be back!!!!!

Close to trout fishing. Our unit very clean, good beds with nice linens, large refrigerator and stove. Quiet, attractive area outside to enjoy sitting with friends or cookout. Recommend highly if you are planning to fish and want excellent value for your dollar. Not fancy but very user friendly. Management friendly. First time we 'd stayed there but planning return... I have stayed here a few times, and they are very friendly and accommodating. It is a nice quite place to stay and you can see the Roaring River State Park Sign from there lot. Just a short trip down the hill and you are in the park in less than 4 minutes. We just stayed in the cabin with... More

The stay way wonderful!! I've been several times and plan to return again before the end of the summer. The rooms are clean, the staff is great and the rooms are priced great. We stayed in a kitchenette and it was perfect. It was spacious and well kept. Best place to stay for miles around and it's the closest to... More

This is an older resort property conveniently located immediately next to the entrance for Roaring River State Park. This convenience is coupled with a beautiful and well-kept setting and rooms that are extremely clean, fresh, and comfortable. The hosts are extremely gracious, helpful and friendly. The property recently upgraded its internet capacity and it is fast! We did have problems... More

Stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. Rooms are clean, we stayed in a regular room no kitchen. Resort is pet friendly except for the cabins. We utilized the fire pit each night. Pool was clean and inviting. I got up early and went to the river to fish at the opening horn, caught my limit within a couple of... More

We have stayed here for 20+ years. We stay here because the price is reasonable, the accommodations are good, and it is as close as it can be to Roaring River State Park without being in the park. Some years we stay in the cabins. There are two cabins that have four beds. We usually split them with another family... More

The good: The location is awesome, just a quick drive down the hill and you are right at the state park, the owners are really nice, and the cabin was spacious and overall very clean. The bad: Some of the cookware had food left in it and had to be cleaned before use and other pieces looked as if they... More

A wonderful place for a relaxing getaway. Our whole family just returned from a trip to Cassville with a new appreciation for accommodations in the area. Roaring River Resort was beyond wonderful! Beautiful cabin, perfect pool, maid service and warm hosts. All within walking distance of the state park.
