We changed our travel plans and didn't check this RV park out like we had our previously planned stops. The site was OK, but do not let them put you in the back. Our lot was #39 and it was really close to their burning barrel. Don't know if they were burning garage or what, but it STUNK and made... More

We did enjoy our stay here but this park has no extras. No pool, no activities, no playgrounds, no camp store. Not even ice. If you forget anything you wlll have to run to the walmart and get it. On the up side the restrooms are clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The other downsides are the... More

Will not come here again no road noise but way too much gun shot noise. Gravel pads and our dish could not be put up due to trees. Not kid friendly either. It amazes me how these type of RV parks look so good on the internet. Pretty pricey to for the amenities. Construction going on too.

This campground is quiet and has super friendly people running it. After several previous campgrounds that were near railroad tracks or big trucking/industrial sites, the quiet was wonderful. Easy access to attractions in Carthage, including the Route 66 Drive-In. Most of the roads and sites are gravel, but fairly level. This is not the fanciest, most up-to-date campground, but the... We stayed here one night early season. The park is quiet and away from the expressway, yet convenient (driving distance) to shopping and restaurants. Our site was level. Bath facilities were OK. WiFi was non-functional. While there were connections available, I tried them with multiple devices and could not get any of them to maintain connection for more than about... More

We went to this park with a rally group. We enjoyed the quiet park with a very friendly staff. We were able to find a decent satellite view to get TV channels on, even though the park has decent cable selections. The park wifi only worked early in the morning but at times, when the park was empty, was able... More

This place is way overrated. I don't know how some people have rated it so highly. We stayed here in our motorhome for one night. It's quiet, shady and the sites are level, but the bathrooms are extremely outdated and in major need of renovation. Some of the streets and all of the sites we saw were gravel. There was... More

We stayed here for one night on a trip through on route 66. The site was clean - although the trash cans were full to overflowing. The wifi did not work at all well - we had to use our Verizon hotspot to be able to get onto the internet and review email.. Satellite TV worked well We were on... More

We stopped two nights at the Big Red Barn which is a nice RV park. It is undergoing further improvement but it is not the facilities that set it apart, the team there are by far the most welcoming and helpful we have met... if you are doing Route 66 this is just the place to stop.

I'm a supervisor for a construction company an have had my RV's all over the country for the past twenty five years. I have never yet came across Owners / Management so rude. I have been accused of placing trash by the trash can that was not mine, was accused of speeding in the park when I don't even own... More

Kevin, thank you for your review. Our Wi-Fi issues have been resolved. We strive to maintain a peaceful and orderly park for ALL of our guest. Occasionally, our family friendly park does not meet someone's needs. It is never a good feeling, when management is required to step in and ask someone to leave. I sincerely apologize if this was...
