We went to this park with a rally group. We enjoyed the quiet park with a very friendly staff. We were able to find a decent satellite view to get TV channels on, even though the park has decent cable selections. The park wifi only worked early in the morning but at times, when the park was empty, was able... More

This place is way overrated. I don't know how some people have rated it so highly. We stayed here in our motorhome for one night. It's quiet, shady and the sites are level, but the bathrooms are extremely outdated and in major need of renovation. Some of the streets and all of the sites we saw were gravel. There was... More

We stayed here for one night on a trip through on route 66. The site was clean - although the trash cans were full to overflowing. The wifi did not work at all well - we had to use our Verizon hotspot to be able to get onto the internet and review email.. Satellite TV worked well We were on... More

We stopped two nights at the Big Red Barn which is a nice RV park. It is undergoing further improvement but it is not the facilities that set it apart, the team there are by far the most welcoming and helpful we have met... if you are doing Route 66 this is just the place to stop.

I'm a supervisor for a construction company an have had my RV's all over the country for the past twenty five years. I have never yet came across Owners / Management so rude. I have been accused of placing trash by the trash can that was not mine, was accused of speeding in the park when I don't even own... More

Kevin, thank you for your review. Our Wi-Fi issues have been resolved. We strive to maintain a peaceful and orderly park for ALL of our guest. Occasionally, our family friendly park does not meet someone's needs. It is never a good feeling, when management is required to step in and ask someone to leave. I sincerely apologize if this was... We stayed in a 38' Motorhome here for one night and were very satisfied with the accommodations. The sites are mostly level gravelled with a nice table on a cement pad. We were so glad to get back in away from the freeway and train noises. Although there are a lot of nice shade trees, we specifically requested a site... More

This park is very well maintained with level pull through sites. Most sites have concrete pads with very nice picnic tables on them. They have both cable TV as well as WiFi. Signs on the road leading to the campground are very well marked.

Very nicely cared for campground. Its nothing fancy - no swimming pool or stuff like that but it was still very enjoyable! We chose to stay here when we were visiting the Precious Moments Chapel & just needed to stay one night somewhere. Very happy we chose here. It was super quiet so it was a nice break from all... Very friendly staff. Clean and well maintained. Lacked some amenities like a pool, but they had two public fire pits with free wood, so that more than made up for it. Convenient laundry facilities. The park was easy to find and close to Walmart, eating establishments and area attractions.

Needed an overnight stop in the area. Found this to be a very nice little park. Everyone was helpful. Clean restrooms/showers. Laundry available but we did not use. The office even had coffee to assist us in an earlier start than normal for a very long drive home. Not too far from interstate. Accepts small campers/tents.
