Based on Trip Advisor reviews, I stayed one night at this hotel while driving to a meeting in St. Louis. Despite the reviews, I was surprised by this hotel, which is exceptional for what is typically considered one of the budget-oriented chains. The lobby is attractive and the front desk clerk was unusually friendly and pleasant. Our King Suite was immaculate, large and very clean. The bathroom had the look of a much more expensive hotel and included a larger-than-usual tub with jacuzzi jets. The biggest surprise to me was that the bed, which was firm and comfortable, was also double-sheeted. In my experience, that is really rare at a hotel in this price category. There were four pillows on the King bed, which is also not typical.
