Knew I was in trouble when I had to change rooms due to a gas-like odor in the front room (maintenance just shrugged their shoulders). Getting in/out of the hotel is a driving challenge (quick turn off the road - most will miss it with the first attempt). The hotel could use a re-fresh, but I'm sure it's tough with... more

My family of five loved the made to order breakfast. We also enjoyed the evening reception, the bartenders were wonderful. We also had dinner in the reception area, so we could still enjoy the complimentary drinks. The pool area was very unsanitary. There was food, garbarge, towels, and socks laying all over the ground throughout the pool area. The hot tub... more

Driving to the hotel from the nearby airport was a Keystone cops routine, as other reviewers have noted. The only sign at the small road where you must turn off is for the Crown Plaza. Once you've missed the unmarked turn, you'll be driving for at least 20 minutes over and under the expressway always seeing the Embassy Suites but... more

My husband and I are fairly easy to please but we were not at all impressed by our stay here. I will start with a few positives. The pool was very warm which made it easy to swim with our kids every day. We also enjoyed the complimentary happy hour every night. Now for the bad...It started with the tricky... more

I usually stay at the Marriott for my Park & Fly hotel. I thought I would try something new. The hotel itself is great. Very nice & clean. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the bed is comfy and the room was clean. Service is great at the hotel. They have a nice managers cocktail hour with free drinkis... more

This is a typical Embassy Suites. We stayed for 3 nights. The first night we had problems with the a/c. After checking it out ES moved us to another room, then we had problems with the smoke dectors in both room beeping. This problem was fixed but it took about an hour to take care of it at 11:00 pm... more

I am waiting for a call back from the Hotel Manager. The business end of the operation needs work. I didn't stay at the hotel myself, I only made the reservation for a brother. He reported the hotel itself was "OK", but a clerk attempted to charge him a higher fee. Thank goodness, he did have his printed confirmation with... more

We stayed at Hotel Lumiere on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. We are local St. Louisans who just came for the night. This is the old Embassy Suites hotel in Laclede's Landing. They have renovated it, but it still looks pretty much like the Embassy suites. There is also the new Four Seasons hotel attached to the other... more

We decided to spend a night at Hotel Lumiere and our experience was wonderful. We have to travel with quite a bit of heavy medical equipment, and when I asked about this, I was assured we would receive any help we needed. I was met at the door by the young lady who was serving as both valet and Bell... more
