We stayed a night in one of these great, rustic cabins, when we visited Silver Dollar City (just a mile or two from this resort). LOVED the beautiful cabins and surroundings. We chose a cabin that included a bathroom. It had a queen bed as well as a set of bunk beds that had a double bed on bottom and... More

We loved this place. How nice to get away from boring drywall & characterless hotel rooms. We prefer the rustic, slow-paced life. Was it ever quiet! Only 3-4 cabins taken during mid-week when we stayed, Oct. 6 - 10, 2014. Then a handful came in on Thurs. night. Still, so quiet, as we're nestled in the woods. Ours was a... More

It was very close to SDC which was our main reason for camping here. They were very helpful over the phone about explaining late checkins. The camp ground was very clean and quiet. The bathrooms and showers were the cleanest camp ground facilities I have ever used. If you're planning on putting a tent on the electric/water sites, which is... More

These cabins are so nice! I took a special roadtrip to SDC with my little 9 year old sister. We spent two nights in one of the small one room cabins. It was SO CUTE. Honestly, I was surprised by how wonderfully decorated it was with just the right amount of playful "authenticity." Plus it was super clean! We enjoyed... More

We stayed in C36 "Annie Oakley's" cabin on 9/25 through 9/28/14. This is a lofted cabin with a jetted tub and kitchenette. This particular cabin was laid out with a queen bed, two person couch, picnic table, kitchen , fireplace and TV all on the first level. The loft was half the size of the 1st level with 3 beds... I made reservations over the phoneand the lady was very helpful and nice. We pull in, and get checked in at the front desk and drive down to our site to find it very difficult to back our pop up camper in at our site (site 170 on the end of the loop by Billy Gales) due to the car... More

This is a great little campground that is very clean and very nice. We have stayed here twice and wanted to return but they were already full for the Labor Day Weekend. Staff is very helpful and there are also cabins you can rent. We have a 30' travel trailer and enjoyed our stays here. Showers and restrooms are very... More

My overall experience was above my expectations. We stayed in the Rustic cabins. Cabin was perfect size for my family of 4. We were back away from the main road, so noise was no issue. At night it could get a little dark around the cabins considering it was heavily shaded area (no complaint...just fyi for those looking to stay).... More

Our overall camping experience at The Wilderness Campground was very nice. I'll rate each section separately so you can choose if it's important for you: Sites: 4/5 Very shady, lamp post, fire ring & picnic table included, gravel pad had to use 1 board Price: 5/5 Not a bad price for full hookup at $34 per night, 15% off with... This is our second time staying at the Wilderness cabins and both of our stays were awesome! Each site has access to a grill and small fire pit, which makes cookouts and sitting around the fire and roasting marshmallows/smores very easy. This last trip we brought several family members and made it more of a family reunion and everyone had... More
