We own a timeshare at this resort and return every year to see shows & visit Silver Dollar City during the International festival. The resort is not fancy, but is well-maintained, by a super manager, Carol Marquart, who works diligently to keep things in working order. There is always something to do, for every member of the family. Carol does... More

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY!!! Staff was friendly and helpful( especially Laurie). Property was well kept and the condo was very nice and clean. Your just 2-3 minutes from the Landing plenty to do and see. The resort was nice by itself ...peaceful, if you didn't want to take in the sites. We bbq'd while sitting on the patio watching the... More

I have rad all the other reviews and felt inclined to add my perspective. We have been staying at The Roark for over 10 years now and have always had an enjoyable experience. Many would say it is out of the 70s, but that is the construction. The interior has been up dated and is always up to expectations. The... More

When we walked into our room, we literally thought we stepped back to 1980. Everything was original (microwave circa 1981). It was all in good repair and working condition, but not a "silver crown" resort by any means, as RCI claimed them to be. We were not impressed with the service at all. We've owned through RCI and have exchanged... More

Let's start off with...read the reviews about this places Travel Service Club....SCAM....this resort tries to appear to not be affiliated, but the travel club works all week out of the main building that sells show tickets. BEWARE - I will write more of them at the end. DEFINITELY read so you know how NOT to get scammed. The condo itself...very... More

Just got home from staying at the Roark. The condo was nice but VERY outdated. I had called 2 weeks before we were to arrive asking for a condo on main level with no steps. I was told that when I got there I would see that there was a lot of people with walkers and that I couldn't be... More

Property is straight out of the 1970's. Roark uses this as it's Branson base for high pressure sales pitches for their low value - high priced, Travel & Timeshare Club! Do not stay here! We did not have bugs in the room, but encountered them crawling out of the rooms on the lower level. We know this is not a... More

When my wife and I were contemplating where to spend our 40th Anniversary weekend, we chose the Roark, because it is our home resort for our Timeshare with RCI. We've never been disappointed with the accomodations. Although everything is "close quarters" the way the buildings are arranged, nothing is not within walking distance from your room. We booked a 1... More

We booked a week at Roark-Branson through RCI. RCI lists this property as a Silver Crown Resort, but my experience has been that RCI hands out this distinction with little discretion. That being said, Roark is a nice property, even if it does look and feel like an "older" property. It appears to be an old motel that has been... More
