Do you really want to grab yet another hotel 10 steps from the interstate off ramp?? If you have 5 minutes to drive off the freeway, here is your answer. Hotel Frederick is a historic building with renovated rooms and interior. Just beautiful. Great bar and even better bartender. Comfy chairs. Great restaurant. Lovely rooms to hang out in. The... My husband surprised me with a quick one night getaway to downtown Boonville and we stayed at the Hotel Frederick. We had a great stay in this lovely historic hotel just a stones throw from the Missouri River. The hotel is red brick and full of shining hardwood floors. The decor was a nice blend of antiques and more modern... More

We stayed here on Memorial Day weekend for an biking event. I had been offered a choice of two rooms and chose the more expensive of the two because of the jet tub. After riding 30 miles from Columbia on a bike in the rain and mud I was sure glad that I had made that decision! My fiancé and... More

I stayed in this old hotel while doing the Katy Trail. When we arrived we were shown a secure location to store our bikes and then up to our lovely room. This is an old hotel with old tyme features but still very modern. Be aware the room numbering system is a bit weird as our room 17 was on... More

I'm sure for some folks, this is the "right" kind of place to stay. For myself, it was just so impracticable. Parking is across the street. I had to haul my belongings to the side of the building to unload onto a luggage cart to take up to the second floor. Then had to take the cart back down since... More

The Fred has all the extras that makes a hotel a home away from home. There's a wonderful lounge with the best bartender in the area (really, he has awards!), a great restaurant for lunch or dinner, complimentary breakfast, board games, books, a tv room, spa tubs, even chocolates from housekeeping. And if you forget your umbrella, they'll loan you... More

Built in 1905 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel Frederick offers public rooms with great charm along with eclectic accommodations and a dandy restaurant now run by the hotel management. Breakfast includes a variety of homemade breads. Rooms are more expensive on weekends.

This hotel has everything that want in a hotel. The staff is super friendly and even bring ice to your room for you! The room are a bit small but very comfortable and the 'Rain" shower is amazing - I didn't want to get out. There is literally no walk time from it to the main street bars and restaurants... More

We were looking for a place to stay before our visit to Warm Springs Ranch and didn't want to stay in another chain motel. At the end of Main St stood the 109 year old Hotel Frederick which we learned was refurbished in 2009. The renovation was done in what I'd call eclectic period style. The furniture except for the...
