I have stayed at this hotel several times when it was a Park Inn and it was always pretty good. It is in the process of becoming a Holiday Inn Express. Have to say the staff I spoke to were all very good. The room was up to the usual good standard and the bathroom was clean enough. The major... More

Had to stay in this hotel because this is where our conference was held. Expected a better staying place in the U.K. The first impression was awful - I had just checked into the hotel and went in to my allotted room and while I was unpacking my bag, suddenly a person barged into my room, and seeing me inside,... The plus side of this hotel was the room I had which had recently been refurbished. Best nights sleep I have had for a long time. However if you like your food cooked by a chef then go elsewhere. The food here is cooked by whichever member of staff happens to be around at the time from the pot washers... More

Stayed here for one night. Booking process was easy - receptionist was lovely. We had interconnecting rooms (222 and 224) very spacious lovely beds very comfy. Fantastic wet room shower in one room, bath in the other. Everything was clean and tidy. Had an enjoyable sleep. Cannot comment on food as didn't eat in the evening there. Morrison and a... More

Myself and my wife stayed here for two nights. This hotel is about to be taken over by the holiday inn chain and is undergoing modernisation. We stayed here room 336 which was clearly the section of the hotel that had been completed. Check in was seem less we got there quite late after sitting on the M6 fighting through the... More

This hotel has changed from the park inn to a holiday express! Where do I start, The food was cold! I had sickness the next morning. I contacted the hotel about this and they said the food was temperature tested, everyone said there food was cold and most people did not eat it. The bed in the room must have... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on a coach trip, the hotel itself was fine, nice rooms and very clean, but the food was appalling. We were served fish fingers, cut up pieces of fish, sausage casserole and chicken pie where the pastry was so soggy that our friend thought it was chicken skin. Three nights hand running... More

Booked this for our anniversary as we were going to the challenge cup semi final I thought it would be a nice weekend how wrong I was, Check in was poor this was no reflection on the friendly girl on reception but just the lack of staff . The first room we were given smelt so badly of stale smoke... More

This hotel is very smart for £55 per night per room. Ideally located next to a sports stadium, gym and a supermarket. Room is air conditioned and the bed provides an excellent nights sleep. Plenty of parking is provided and it only takes 2 minutes to walk to the nearest pub if you dont want to stay in the hotel... More
