My husband and I stayed at Harrah's Veranda for his birthday this year, and payed $190 for the room. The room was mediocre. We had come for a concert that was cancelled (we weren't informed) and we ended up walking around the gambling area for our evening. We were bored, and finally went to bed. Very disappointing. We did not realize this when we made the reservations, but there was a shuttle we used a few times that seemed very realible and we had a car rental so this was not an issue. The reviews we read lead us to worry about this hotel but DO NOT WORRY! The staff was wonderful and the rooms were very clean. We can not say enough about how helpful the staff was and the rooms were great for the entire stay. more
