I've traveled to Meridian numerous times on business and stayed in multiple hotels in town. Although, it isn't the best in town, the rooms are always clean and comfortable. We had a one night stay (made reservations online) and were very pleased with the friendly staff and the overall appearance and cleanliness of the lobby and the spacious room. Other than having to call the front desk at 10 PM to request a plunger for a very "slow" toilet, our stay was satisfactory.
