I was traveling yesterday from Monroeville AL to Meridian. It's a business trip I am on, and it would have been easy to stay at one more Marriott or Hilton. For no particular reason I decided to go a B and B. It was an excellent decision. Many many years ago, the Lion and Harp was the residence of a... More

My wife and I stayed at the Lion and Harp for 2 nights in October. The house is a beautiful old Victorian, well kept up and clean. There is lots of history to the house, which is fun to read about. The rooms are spacious and there is interesting art all around. The owners, Janet and Tom, are very nice... More

My husband and I stayed at the Lion and Harp B&B in July. It was clean like you have never seen. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. It looks and feels like home with the loveliest hosts you will ever meet. The breakfast were delightful and made us feel special. I can promise you will enjoy your stay.

This is an amazing old house, beautifully restored, on the outskirts of Meridian. Very comfortable inside and out with an amazing breakfast. The hosts were lovely.

Beautifully restored with many antiques and collectibles in a quiet setting. Gracious host and hostess with fascinating stories. Comfortable bedrooms and wonderful breakfast. Lovely grounds as well, but mosquito season made them hard to enjoy.
