Went to a wedding here. Rooms slightly dated but we had a spacious condo. Amazing southern food. Beach/slides were great and my kids would have loved them if I had brought them. Walmart right next door for supplies if you need them. Very friendly staff!

PROS: The Staff is friendly and helpful, the lake is gorgeous, Rooms are clean and well apportioned. Rates for rooms, kitchenettes, and cabins are very reasonable as are the rates for boat rentals and other amenities. FOOD: Breakfast buffet is very nice if a bit high at $8.75 a person The evening Buffet at the restaurant is a bit pricey... More

Ok, let me start off by saying that I have been traveling for work for the past 20 years and this is the FIRST place I've stated that I truly disliked. This will probably be a LONG review. I know this is a "retreat" center but the it could use a tremendous face lift. Also, I had no choice in... More

Some may find the cabins a bit country and rustic, but they are nestled among the trees surrounding a beautiful lake and peaceful and quiet. There is a marvelous restaurant, wonderful food they grow their own vegetables in season and on Sunday they have an old fashioned "smorgasboard" lunch. There are paddle boats and canoes and a swimming area. Nature... More

My family is from that area....and as a kid I went to this lake a lot! We thought it was perfect for family reunion...and it was! Cabins was clean and cool....lake was so nice! Some family came with campers...and they were pleased with the camp areas. A private room was provided for our reunion....and it was just awesome!

Loved our stay here! Staff was very friendly! And it was a quiet park and nice decent place to stay! Not a lot of loud party people or drunks! Everyone stayed to theirselves! Loved it and would recommend to any family needing a safe place to park

I just played a wedding here, and the band stayed at the motel there, right across from the restaurant and lodging office. The motel is not brand new, but the rooms were very nice, clean, and up to date. Nice flat screen TV's, lots of channels. Dvd, vcr in every room, with tons of movies available in the office. The... If you're looking for excitement in Louisville, MS, you've probably come to the wrong place. The town is about as sleepy as you can get. However, if you happen to be stuck there on business for a few days (or want to plan an inexpensive family reunion), this is definitely the best place in town. Just don't expect to buy... More

Unfortunately we couldn't stay our intended four nights in a cabin so we spent two nights in the motel and two nights in a cabin. The motel was very good!, everything you would need, with good wifi. The Cabin had great location on the water and beautiful views. However no wifi. And very limited cooking utensils. We had planned to... More

Lake and surroundings were beautiful. Cabins are clean but very plain. What you would expect a cabin to be. Beautiful view of lake. Bathrooms very small and no plug outlets. Restaurant very good and very friendly service. Trip was during spring break, two days. We took nature trail, played tennis with children and played board games at night. Wal- Mart... More
