Hopefully, my review will be shown. Stayed at Wisteria BB week end of July 11, 2014. Reviewed immediately after visit but for some reason it was not shown on website. Peggy and Earl are the consummate innkeepers. Best breakfast ever! Loved our chats with them. It was like visiting your favorite relatives/friends.

Wisteria Bed and Breakfast is the ONLY place we stay when our travels take us through Laurel, Mississippi. Peggy and Earl Schneider are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is delicious. The sausage is my absolute favorite, and the biscuits and may haw jelly are a southern delight! We feel right at home at Wisteria.

We were somewhat disappointed that this B &B was not as we expected. The room was pretty, but there were no locks on our doors. That was the first no no for us. The second thing that spoiled our night was lack of proper air conditioning, and the ceiling fan only had one speed, SLOW. Also, when we arrived, they... More

Wisteria Bed and Breakfast was built in 1900 by one of the founders of Laurel and the house is an important part of Laurel's History. It is located in the heart of the historic district. We are sorry we were upstairs and not waiting at the door when you arrived. You had a very short wait. The only room with... More

Thank you Peggy and Earl for such comfortable and lovely accommodations. It felt like home except for the delicious breakfast on china every morning. I must confess that I don't do that at home. We look forward to our next trip to Laurel and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Wisteria was perfect for us. It was me and my husband and our 4 year old son. We arrived by train and not only did Earl kindly pick us up from the station he also drove us to the station for our departure. Real gracious hospitality. The inn was very comfortable and clean and our breakfast in the morning was... More

What a beautiful Inn inside and out. Conveniently located with great hosts, Peggy and Earl extending warm Southern charm. Biscuits as well as the balance of the breakfast were outstanding. Loved the history of the Inn, the room was more that adequate with it's own charming bathroom.

While the outside of Wisteria Inn is a little tired, inside it is a 100 year old gem. In the antique strewn house time stood still. Our innkeeper and her husband were a joyfully friendly and breakfast was excellent. Our room was large and full of Victorian charm. We are a mature couple just traveling for leisure and our experience... More

After spending the night at the Wisteria, I have to wonder why anyone would bother staying at a hotel when there are so many wonderful B&Bs. The Wisteria is very comfortable, reasonably priced and the hosts, Peggy and Earl Schneider, are the epitome of southern hospitality. Our room was spacious, clean and so inviting after a day of canoeing and... More

We ran the Mississippi 50 last weekend and had a marvelous time at the historic Wisteria. The absolutely charming home built at the turn of the last century is filled with many gems, each with a story the Schneiders will graciously share. The warm, cozy rooms with large, comfortable beds were perfect after a 30 mile winter run. We slept... More
