This was my second time at Maple Terrace and both were fantastic stays. I love the character of the place, the woodwork, the furnishings. The decor is historic, antique, yet not too stiff. Very comfortable place. My favorite part was the Victrola phonograph! I look forward to my next stay here.

Recently, I stayed at the Maple Terrace Inn in the Mahogany Room for two nights while in town speaking at a conference. The Maple Terrace Inn has great curb appeal and fits beautifully in the neighborhood (reminds me of early 20th century houses). It has four great spacious rooms, each with their own bathrooms. I believe the bed I stayed... More

For future reference, there are thermostats located in the hallways downstairs and upstairs as described in the booklets found in each guest room. The central heat/air units were replaced in the last year and are quite adequate with duct work and vents to every room in the home. Guests are welcome to control room temperatures as desired. Your comfort is... More

We were driving the length of the Natchez Trace and chose this quaint place to spend one of 3 nights. It was the perfect place to settle in after the drive. We were greeted by a nice lady who showed us around the rooms and told us to make ourselves at home. We had the whole house to ourselves until... More

Early coffee and a timely, made to order, breakfast is important to many of our guests. So, the cook arrives about an hour early to brew fresh coffee that's available whenever desired. She sets the table with syrups, jellies, etc. Then, she washes, prepares and refrigerates fresh fruits as requested. Next, she prepares hot cereals that are tastier with a... More

Stayed here one night on our bike ride on the Trace. A beautiful old brick mansion. Very nice! Felt as if we were in the 1890's! Beautiful staircase. I know Vanessa will make as good of a breakfast for you as she did for us.

I stayed two nights at this beautifully restored home while in Kosciusko on business. It is a stately home with a lot of Southern Charm in a historic neighborhood within a couple blocks of the town square. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I slept well both nights I stayed there. I stayed in the upstairs Mahogany Room which... More

Beautiful, clean and comfy. The Maple Terrace Inn was great. A stately home with Southern charm. Can't think of anything negative to say. Oh, except for one. The birds are very noisy. They partied all night long.

What are we to do with this younger generation of birds in Kosciusko? Seems all they want to do is tweet, day and night! More

The Maple Terrace Inn was an ideal stop off for us when on the Natchez Trace. We had the whole house to ourselves as no other guests staying that night. It was very clean and comfortable. Lots of work has obviously gone into restoring this beautiful house. Breakfast in the morning was prepared and served by Kenyatta, a really lovely... More

Our ground floor room in this attractive historic house was nicely decorated, clean, and the bed was comfortable. We slept well even though both second floor rooms were occupied, and our room was quite close to a side street In the evening we left menus with our breakfast selections for the cook. The hot and cold items were standard and... More

Fine breakfast dining is included with room accommodations at the Maple Terrace Inn. Guests are comfortably seated at an antique, inlaid French banquet table and served with china, silver and crystal. The menu offers 25 items including hot/cold drinks, juices, fresh fruits selected by the innkeeper, thick cut meats, eggs prepared one of seven ways, freshly baked breads, and numerous... More

Maple Terrace and the town of Kosciusko are conveniently located close to the Natchez Trace. The home is lovingly restored and very comfortable. A storage shed is available to store bikes. A very nice plus if you are riding on the trace. There is even a tool box in the shed should you need it. Our host Larry stopped in... More

Ideal location if you are traveling along the Nanchez trace parkway. This is a beautiful old home with large airy rooms. There is a wonderful locking shed for bicycle storage which we greatly appreciated. The staff could not be friendlier! There are very limited eating options within walking distance, especially if Frenchies is closed.

Kosciusko, Mississippi is proud to offer a large variety of outstanding restaurants, most of which are locally owned and operated with a sensitivity to customer satisfaction that is unsurpassed. Located within 3 blocks of the Maple Terrace Inn are two wonderful restaurants with home style cooking --- nothing fancy, just lots of good food and some local color. Also, two... More
