Usual grotty location right next to the interstate - room was threadbare and in need of major attention. The large (floor-to-ceiling) window was cracked. The pool area was not inviting at all, and the breakfast room really needed a good clean (when did this last happen?)

Receptionist was reluctant to honour the rate that had been promised us at check-in, but he gave up when we stood our ground. Don't think he cared, to be honest!
