To their credit, the front desk people were helpful, and allowed us to look at the room before we checked in. But, I didn't expect a hole in the wall covered by a chair, missing smoke detector, missing grille on the air conditioner which caused the air to blow right on the bed. The overall hotel was dity and "unkept". good price, bad experience. Staff knows the hotel is dirty and doesn't care. The first room we checked into had beds that weren't even made and room was filthy. We were assigned another room which was looked better but smelled bad. The alarm wouldn't keep time. We checked in 3 people and only... more

Price and location are great. Though the staff wasn't friendly, she was organized and capable. Room was just fine outside of the really dirty carpeting (not even vacuumed). Disappointed that there wasn't wifi but hotel was definitely worth its price. more

Had a horrible experience with another hotel and the Red Roof Inn staff in Jackson seemed to make it all go away. Amazing staff, very friendly and housekeeping was nice too. All around a great hotel. more
