The Fairview Inn was a welcome quiet getaway on a weekend following a business trip. The staff was great and the French Suite was a gem. The library is a great place to relax in the evening and the baked guest treats in the central area were fantastic. Spa services should be booked in advance as the various service providers... More

My host was the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and I was taken aback to find myself staying in this warm and gracious antebellum setting. I expected an expressway exit hotel! I stayed in Room 1; the room was so lovely that I sent photos to my family and staff. The bed was very comfortable and welcoming. The "guest pantry"... More

My fiancé and I stopped by the Fairview Inn on the way from a nationwide road trip. We have stayed at numerous Select Registry Bed and Breakfasts, and this was possibly one of the largest that we have stayed in. First of all, when we arrived, there was a wedding clearly in the works, and so we walked into the... More

I stayed at the Fairview for business and had a beautiful room as well as an awesome breakfast each of the days that I was there. The staff were incredibly helpful. There were none of the usual hassles about wifi and they have a "Guest Pantry" that provides all kinds of goodies, some of which are absolutely free. The breakfast... More

I attended a wedding reception at the Fairview. It was a lovely venue. Chosen foods were good. Staff was very good and attentive. Not sure about price value as I was a guest. Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening.

The architecture and grounds set the stage for what kind of stay a traveler can expect at the Fairview. Stately columns, the crisp white exterior, and rocking chairs say, "Come on in and rest your weary bones in our beautifully appointed home." We loved wandering the grounds, sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch or the gazebo/ and... More

My wife and I love the Fairview. We have stayed in 4or 5 different rooms there and have enjoyed them all. They are super clean and all have nice updated bathrooms. Sometimes b&bs are a little too historic (run down) for me. The Fairview Inn keeps its history and charm while still being clean and fresh. There is a nice... More

This historic inn is perfectly matched with the essence of yesterday and today. Spacious rooms with antique and modern themed decor along with a grand courtyard( with quite possibly the biggest magnolia tree I have ever seen). You can sip delightful beverages in the Library bar - try the Eudora Welty , it taste like summertime. You can also take... More

A charming getaway in Jackson. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the house is amazing. We walked to downtown Jackson from the inn which is only about a mile away. The keepers were really helpful in giving us directions to vegan/vegetarian places in the sparse city. The room we stayed in was really affordable... More

We had read reviews about this hotel and knew that it was located in the heart of Kenya's Capital, we were ready from the vehicle fumes, noises and the hustle and bustle that comes with a capital city, only to be shocked to sleep like a baby enjoy great landscape, birds chirping, an amazing experience, again booked in by affable...
