Ellen and Tom are running a very charming B&B, will pamper their guests with excellent food and kind, charming service, and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. "Gone with the wind" was the impression we got from the house and its furnishings. It's a bit like going back in time - the nice way. We have expressed... more

Ellen, Tom's wife, provided a wonderful four course breakfast each morning, each unique. Tom served breakfast and broke the conversational ice with the other guests making a convivial breakfast experience. Everybody went their seperate ways during the day and would often share their experience of the day together in a relaxed atmosphere with the evening dessert offering and the everpresent... more

Less than a mile off I55 - easy access to Memphis and Tunica. Very easy to find. Although our host/hostess did not greet us upons arrival, they did contact us to let us know how to access the home and our room. We were delighted when we saw the beautiful home. There was a selection of cake awaiting us in... more

We had a wonderful two night stay at Magnolia Grove. Tom and Ellen have done a great job of keeping the historic ambiance while offering all the modern comforts. We had three of the four rooms when we stayed here and we all just loved it. Comfortable beds, fireplaces and the great gathering space in the upper hall. Tom is... more

We found Magnolia Grove while looking for a place to stay near Memphis. The location is perfect if you are visiting Tunica, Memphis or Tupelo (birthplace of Elvis Presley). We chose this B&B for convenience and received much, much more than we expected. This home is beautiful, spotless, warm and friendly. Mr. and Mrs. Mulligan present their genuine southern hospitality... more

We loved our stay at Magnolia Grove! The Innkeepers were so nice, the house was gorgeous, our room was lovely, and the breakfast was beyond expectations! We needed a place to stay for our trip to Memphis, and I'm really glad we picked this B&B. It's only a 20 min drive away from Memphis and well worth it. - The... more

Thank you Tom, and of course to Ellen too, for offering to others your Wonderful place...bed & breakfast or I should say home. Emi and me felt like in a different planet where everything is special, beautiful and inspiring. Until today there is a moment in my days where I wish I'd be enjoying a slice of Ellen's cake. And... more

I just returned from a 4-day trip to Memphis where I spent 2 nights at the Magnolia Grove. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend the place to my family and friends. I especially enjoyed the evenings when you could sneak out of your room for a slice of homemade cake or pie that they had brought up... more

We wanted to get a "taste of the South" and found it here. The town is about 30 minutes from Memphis, and is a lovely property. The whole place is true to form and a bit over the top for us northerners, but that is why we came. What I liked about it is that it is well restored and... more
