a lovely historic home. nice breakfasts (@ 8am) and very comfy rooms at a great price. only 25 minutes from Memphis and 15 minutes from a huge lake and country roads. There are only four rooms so you don't have to worry about being around 40 people.

Tom and Ellen were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was amazing and there was dessert for the guests every evening, Wonderfully appointed rooms. I would definitely recommend staying here when in the Memphis area!

Beutiful old house. Lots of history and an element host who enjoys sharing it's story. Spacious on-suite bedrooms. Particularly enjoyed sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine on hot sunny evenings. Breakfasts were sensational.

Our host was charming from the moment we walked in. He and his lovely wife thought of every detail and not only provided a clean, comfy place to stay but also offered gourmet breakfasts with intriguing stories about the history of the home. It will be difficult to match such a wonderful experience.

My husband and I have experienced many bed and breakfasts. This scored 5 out of 5! I took my mom, and she loved it! Taking my husband next trip. Awesome! Talented Chef! Each course was exquisite. Try this one. Worth the price.

A glorious mansion with wonderful hosts. Tom was full of great stories that made the history of the mansion and its lovely, independent original-owner's personality come to life. The rooms are clean and comfy and the common area was stocked with beverages and goodies. And the breakfasts! Five star!

We just got back from a weekend at the Magnolia Grove. All I can say is Awesome! Beautiful rooms, amazing food! Our host we just what you would expect! Excellent! Can't wait to go back!!!! We had 9 ladies and reserved the entire place! The decor is truly "old south" and the house and owners emit total "Southern Hospitality"! Highly... More

Great bed and breakfast! My friend and I have been traveling around America on a girls adventure. It was a few days before Halloween and we really wanted to stay in an older house. Many B&B's are made to look old, but are not actually from the period they are made to look from. So we were really surprised how... More

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Grove. This lovely old house has been lovingly cared for by Tom and Ellen. They are wonderful hosts, from the snacks, and desserts and coffee, to the wonderful breakfasts. The first morning, we enjoyed breakfast with two other couples, then on the second morning, we were the only guests. We... More

I just returned from a perfect stay at this wonderful B&B. My three friends and I were made to feel so welcome in this beautiful, immaculately kept, graceful old southern home. From our fabulous breakfasts to our comfortable beds at night, Tom and Ellen saw to our every comfort, yet allowed us great privacy. The snacks coffee, drinks and those... More
