We stopped over in Hattiesburg on our drive to Sandestin and felt that we found a real jewel in this place. The hotel staff was extremely cordial and helpful. The rooms were immaculate. This is a terrific Courtyard. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated (got some ideas for my bedroom), the hotel is in a nice spot, and the staff was friendly. This hotel is clean and relatively new, the room I was in had a fridge and microwave (think they all do), and the breakfast buffet was far better than expected... more

New Courtyard and like the below review is our rest stop on the way to Destin. Very nice place and good price. Get on there books early in the spring b/c there are many baseball tournaments being it is a central place for the state and home of southern Miss so is never good on weekends to just stop by...... more

We were en route to Ft. Walton Beach, FL when we stayed at this Courtyard. The staff was super friendly and the service was top notch. Our pleasant stay at this hotel made our entire trip THAT much more memorable. Seriously. more

My daughter, two of her friends and I were traveling from St. Louis, MO to Florida and didn't want to drive straight. As most of you are finding out, hotel pickings in and around Hattiesburg are quite slim.
