The hotel itself was ok. The location is excellent with the beach directly across the street. The hotel was clean and updated (as to be expected since it's reconstruction due to Katrina). However, for the price I paid, I would never have expected to have to pay for breakfast and for local phone calls. I wish I had read up... more

This Courtyard is a 5-story single-wing configuration with significant meeting rooms and restaurant/lounge space - more so than in a typical or average Courtyard. It is across the street from the beach and the busy street in front can create a bit of noise, but views from the even-numbered rooms of the beach and Gulf more than make up for... more

My mother and I traveled to the coast for the Mother's Day weekend. I searched several different hotels before choosing to stay at the Courtyard. Let me just start by saying we were impressed just by driving into the parking lot. The hotel was clean and in the perfect location right across from the beach with nothing but beautiful trees... more

This hotel is OK. It is clean and presentable with a good location across from the beach but little rough around the edges with passable but kind of cheesy decor, musty stairwells, saltwater pool, and a continental breakfast you have to pay $10 for. I would be happy to pay $80 or $100 for the room (as it was obvious... more

First of all to the Management and Staff of this hotel, AWESOME JOB. Myself and 18 other Marines from LAAD Bn had the pleasure of holding our first reunion at this hotel. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is by far the most pleasurable experience i have ever had. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The... more

Spent three days at the Marriott Courtyard - Gulfport and had a great stay. The hotel is spotless and service was terrific. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with everything from directions to suggestions of where to go and local points of interest. Food was fresh and service was great. The staff was great and obviously liked what they... more

Pleasant & helpful Staff, 24 hr coffee service in lobby, very good breakfast--well worth the cost. Overall, very pleased and we were in the hotel for 5 nights (wedding guests). Would highly recommend it. Good size rooms, free internet access, very pleasant lobby and nice grounds. more

We wanted a gambling junket, but all the casinos were full, so we booked a room here for the weekend. It was a pleasant hotel with a bar and restaurant and right on the beach. It was a short and pleasant drive to our casinos of choice and to Emeril's Gulf Coast Fish House. That was a fabulous restaurant. (located... more

My wife and stayed here on a little get away. It is a very nice hotel, recently reopened since the storm. Everything was clean and new. Loved that the beach was right across the street. Would stay here again for sure. more

Well I booked this reservation on Expedia with it being the only hotel on the beach in Gulfport. I recognized the hotel from the picture, and I knew it used to be the old Holiday Inn there in Gulfport, therefore I knew the property would be damage from the hurricane so I wasn't expecting a lot, I just wanted a... more
