Your place is just great!!!! My husband and I stayed in the cottage for our 17th wedding anniversary and were so pleased. It was so relaxing, quiet & wonderful. The atmosphere is warm, inviting & homey. The service was outstanding from the front desk to the ladies in the dining room, everyone is very friendly & helpful. The rooms were... more

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Magnolia. Very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. Friendly staff who seem to love the hotel and take care of it very well. If you are staying for an extended period, get the king suites (Room 18). These have separate sitting areas and small kitchen facilities. Punch (with or without!)... more

Most of the hotels within Gulfport were full, thankfully, as we found this hotel to be very peaceful and traditional. Coming from the Uk, it was lovely to find somewhere that represented a home, very personal. The staff were very courteous, helpful and polite at all times. Will definitely be returning. Located the Magnolia on internet....was ecstatic to get there...spent three nights and had a fabulous time. Service and staff were great...so accomodating and friendly....and the owner's cat (Sweetie) was even friendly. Breakfast buffet was the best I've experienced in my travels...biscuits and gravy can't be beat! Rum punch & cookies....what a novel idea...perfect ! Peacocks were an extra added beautiful... more

We booked this weekend for our wedding anniversary . When we arrived we had doubts just from the location. Once we got inside it was obvious we had made a huge mistake to say the least. The "nursing home" smell hit us immediately. The desk clerk was very strange. We checked in and went to our room which we discovered... more

We were en route to Fl and had just gotten off Amtrak after 30 hours and drove here - a one hour trip. The place was wonderful. Private quarters, clean and we practically fell into the bed and slept well. When we awoke in the AM, we were so pleasantly surprised with the surroundings. Just a charming place, with gorgeous... more

Me and my 2 best friends stayed a night here for a shopping adventure (outlet center less than 2 miles away). This place is amazing! The hotel is so cozy and clean. The beds were so comfortable and I slept as good here as I do at home. The a/c was very cold and the grounds are beautiful w/ peacocks... more

I booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary. The website photos made it look terrific. We didn't realize that we were checking into the Norman Bates hotel. We arrived around midnight, traveling from Texas on the way to Florida for our family vacation. We timed it to arrive on our anniversary, excited that I had picked a really GREAT ONE... more
