Only here for one night, but great hotel! Room was quiet and spacious.....had a suite with a fireplace. Breakfast next morning was a real treat. Nice street to stroll with a few shops. Most people seemed to be there for the spa or Viking classes.

We stayed in the terrace suite room 206. Really enjoyed our stay! front desk staff was polite and helpful, they have a good breakfast, and GREAT room with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous tub. We didn't want to leave.

My sister and I took a weekend trip to the Alluvian while I was visiting her. Referred by a friend or we never would have thought of a weekend in Greenwood, MS. It was a great, memorable getaway. Our room was comfortable, if a little worn (the window leaked badly during a storm). My favorite part of the room was... More

We made a last-minute trip to the Delta and, based on all we had heard and read, decided to splurge on a stay at the Alluvian, rather than the HI Express or Hampton Inn. When several attempts to book a room via the internet failed, we called to make a same-day reservation. The phone was immediately answered, but I was... More

Stayed on business and really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are spacious and updated. The lobby and atrium area are beautiful. The restaurant was excellent and the bar was great. I would call this a hidden gem.

The Alluvian Hotel is much more than a boutique hotel. The facilities and rooms are elegant. The food, spa and cooking school outstanding. What sets The Alluvian apart is their staff, starting with the front desk. Always professional, always friendly and a genuine interest in making their guests feel at home. The review from the last traveler is surprising. I... More

We stayed two nights (Saturday and Sunday) at the Alluvian. We arrived early afternoon Saturday, and pulled up outside the front of the hotel. There were no signs as to parking, and we were about to park at the front door. Eventually a bellman of sorts peeked out of the front door and told us to park in a small... More

A really great boutique hotel. We stayed there while taking cooking classes at the Viking school. And used the spa across the street which is connected with the hotel. It was really a great stay. The people were very friendly. The rooms were great. We loved everything about it!

The Alluvian Hotel is lovely with elegant spacious rooms and a large luxury bath. We stayed on the fourth floor which houses the breakfast room. Speaking of which, the complimentary buffet breakfast is much better than expected in an elegant, casual setting. If you are attending the Viking Cooking School this hotel is a must stay. When you complete your... More
