The Alluvian Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Greenwood, MS. Outside of the hotel and the Viking cooking school, there is not much else to do in Greenwood although the people we met were very nice. The suite we had was quite spacious but there was a lot of wasted space. The bathroom was a decent... More

My two favorite hotels in the Mississippi Delta are the ShackUp Inn in Clarksdale and the Alluvian in Greenwood. You could not find two more different hotel experiences in the Delta if you tried! The Alluvian, with its contemporary design and upscale rooms and common areas, is an unexpected delight. The hotel bar is my favorite experience. Not for the... More

We stayed in this boutique hotel for one night. It is like an oasis in the desert. Amazing quality. Check-in and check-out were easy; staff were friendly and informative; room was very spacious with all facilities. Gave us a chance to spread out and relax. Definitely should be the hotel of choice in Greenwood.

My family was lucky enough to have a stay at the Alluvian this past weekend. My mother was given a weekend stay for the whole family to go from her boss. I didn't have much expectations going in...I had never heard of the place, nor Greenwood, MS for that matter. As you're approaching the hotel, you'll drive through small town... More

We loved this hotel. Every detail was perfect and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The music in the patio was a delightful welcome. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. We also loved the adjoining restaurant. Clearly, we cannot say enough good things about it.

Only here for one night, but great hotel! Room was quiet and spacious.....had a suite with a fireplace. Breakfast next morning was a real treat. Nice street to stroll with a few shops. Most people seemed to be there for the spa or Viking classes.

We stayed in the terrace suite room 206. Really enjoyed our stay! front desk staff was polite and helpful, they have a good breakfast, and GREAT room with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous tub. We didn't want to leave.

My sister and I took a weekend trip to the Alluvian while I was visiting her. Referred by a friend or we never would have thought of a weekend in Greenwood, MS. It was a great, memorable getaway. Our room was comfortable, if a little worn (the window leaked badly during a storm). My favorite part of the room was... More

We made a last-minute trip to the Delta and, based on all we had heard and read, decided to splurge on a stay at the Alluvian, rather than the HI Express or Hampton Inn. When several attempts to book a room via the internet failed, we called to make a same-day reservation. The phone was immediately answered, but I was... More

Stayed on business and really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are spacious and updated. The lobby and atrium area are beautiful. The restaurant was excellent and the bar was great. I would call this a hidden gem.
