We arrived at this location fully expecting a great stay. We arrived on Friday night around 5:00 P.M. and guess what, no one there, how ever there was a box with our unit keys in it. We got into our unit and could not work the phone as per the instructions and also could not get the internet to work.... More

Called before we left to go and asked about Wi-Fi and refurbished unit since I had read reviews of some of the units being really worn down. Was told that if checking in through RCI we would get a refurbished unit and yes, they have Wi-Fi. After looking at some of the pictures that have been posted, and talking to... More

I rated this resort on what it is and what was expected from advertised. It's a large, yet cozy cabin type, older resort in the woods. The 2 BR unit was actually perfect for 6 people. Usually I find them cramped. One BR with king bed, the other with 2 queens and a fold out couch downstairs in the living... More

We stayed here because there was a tournament At their golf course. We got there and one room had twin beds. Since it was two couples this wasn't ideal. The beds were so hard nobody slept well the entire stay. There were no curtains, only cheap blinds so the sun was shining in our room at sunrise. There were no... More

We picked up a week through an online auction site a few years back. We liked the location... relatively short drive from where we live and close to New Orleans, Gulf Shores, Mobile, Biloxi and the Gulf. We made sure it was a place that we could go to year after year, as we had no plans to join RCI... More

Older Resort. Did get one of the upgraded two bedroom villas. New mattresses, clean. Bedrooms are upstairs. Stairs are steep. Did not use pool, looked ok, Hot tubs water didn't look good. Stayed busy sightseeing, shopping, etc. Located at the Golf Course.

The air conditioner did not work properly. Carpets are nasty. Hot tub is "open" but I actually got the hose and filled it up myself but I couldn't open the Tupperware box that the chemicals were in so we didn't get in. The pool is not heated so we couldn't use that. The outdoor furniture was falling apart and just... More

I understand the units are older. But the unit we got had problems throughout. The bedrooms were plain, not well lit. The blinds were broken so we had light coming as we slept. The outlets in the downstairs bathroom would trip out when we tried to use a blow dryer. The refrigerator leaks water on the floor. We had asked... More

Bottom line is that this resort needs some serious upgrades, the most important being the rock hard mattresses. The GOOD NEWS is that they are upgrading AND the resort really has a ton of potential. They should have spent the $$ on the beds and not the couches, but people see the couches first. The list of stuff that went... More

The golf course was lovely, but the Villas need some major work. It looks like they are working on fixing some of the problems, but they have a long way to go. Our unit had a leaky roof and a problem with the water at the bathroom sink. Although clean and appliances were relativel new, it just needs a total... More
