We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway at the Bed and Breakfast Inn. It was a very peaceful place. Even though the weather was warm, we liked to sit on the front porch of the cabin and sip on our Mississippi Muscadine Juice from the gift shop. The BLT at the Council House Cafe is to die for! We enjoyed being... More

Two astronauts "camped out" on the moon and called it Tranquility Base. It wouldn't surprise me if they got the idea for the name from a stay at the French Camp Bed and Breakfast. We enjoyed our stay in this delightful and historic location on the Natchez Trace. Craig and Diann were our genial hosts, and the breakfast was superb.... More

We spent two nights at French Camp wile cycling the Natchez Trace. It was plain, simple, peaceful, serene and just wonderful. Each person we met was very friendly and welcoming The location is perfect for cycling the Trace - just off the road and very easy to get to.. We would return here if we were in the area again

Chose French Camp B&B because of the rustic accommodations and it's location right off of the Natchez Trace. We knew we would be arriving on a Sunday and the Cafe would be closed for dinner. With that in mind chose to "splurge" on the Junior B&B cabin, because it would have a small kitchenette where we could make our own... More

We stayed in the Carriage House cabin one night while driving up the Trace. The cabin itself was clean and roomy but pretty worn. We stayed on a Saturday night so they put a breakfast basket in our room for the next morning. It was packaged muffins, juice, fruit and snack bars....pretty unimpressive. Dinner was limited and pretty unimpressive too.... More

Thank you so much for staying with us and taking time to write a review about your experience. Over the past several years we have been renovating all of our rooms and cabins - the Carriage House is the last one on the list, but it will also be renovated. As you mentioned, we do breakfast a little different on... More

Stayed in the Redbug room. This is a private bath, lower level room in a larger cabin. Adequate a/c. No tv. Wifi worked fine. Very very comfortable bed and linens. No phone in the room. Does have a hairdryer and decent hookups to charge phone/devices with. Very clean log walls; rustic furniture. Nice huge porch out back to visit with... More

From Natchez to Nashville 444 miles! What a treat it was to stay at this location....this event was planned a year in advance with right at 50 motorcyclist in attendance. Everyone loved the place and it was the perfect halfway point for us before our final day of the trip to Nashville. The BLT at the Council House was GREAT!... More

Peaceful, comfortable, great food and service. This is a quaint little place that has such quiet , peaceful sounds all around you. No need to worry about seeing the stars you can see them as clear as a bell.

We stayed at The Lodge. Everything was very nice and with the exception of a few kids running thru the hallway it was nice and peaceful, lol! I wish we had purchased the optional breakfast as it smelled terrific, bacon, eggs, etc., more than a continental. The only negative is the lack of WiFi and cell phone service in the... More

Thank you so much for your review and for staying at the Lodge, a part of Rising Son Retreat Center. I am glad to hear everything was nice with your accommodations and apologize for the noise caused by children running through the hall. I do want to mention that this Trip Adviser page is for French Camp Bed and Breakfast... More

We loved staying there and learning about the Academy and the history of French Camp. The bed and breakfast, where we stayed was extremely comfortable and homey. The queen size bed was very comfortable for us as well. We just wish we could've made it in time to eat dinner that Saturday night.
