During our recent trip around WA we decided to stay in different types of accommodation in each location. We stayed in self contained units, motel, hotel, b&b's as well as units in caravan parks. Of all the places stayed in this van park was by far the worst we have stayed in not only in WA but all over the... More

My husband and I stayed 6 nights in our caravan. The site we had was close to the toilet, bathrooms where clean and tidy. The only thing I would say was a little annoying was when they mow their grass they don't use a catcher which when the grass is wet with rain or dew grass cuttings are in the... More

When you drive into this park, it looks lovely and I'm sure if you booked a van site you would be more than happy. The camp kitchen and laundry looked good even though we didn't use them. However we were in what's described as a "Deluxe Chalet". As you drive deeper into this park you start to imagine the sound... More

This was our last main stop of a 7 month trip travelling around Oz and before we headed back to Sydney. We decided to "splash out" on an ensuite camp site for our Jayco camper and it was about $55 per night which we thought was reasonable considering it has its own ensuite, and WA is generally quite expensive. The... More

Stayed for one night, Anzac Day, it was very quiet and very clean. Not sure who lives there permanently but we barely saw anyone. Would definitely return if I had a 21 foot van again, $50 for a powered site. It's a little out of town but only $13 cab to central Freo....

This was the best site for a small van out of 14 we stayed in north and south of Perth. Others ranged from Big-4 en-suite sites to bush camps. Fremantle village has a special enclosed area for 18 small vans, with its own gas BBQs, comfortable kitchen with lounge and TV, and modern shower and toilets. Tents and larger vans... More

The park is ideally located, easy walk to local supermarket, beach and Cat Bus, the local bus stops at the front gate. The description of this accommodation on the website does not match the reality. The cabin was clean, however it is very very 'tired', and in need of repairs. The front steps do not meet regulations, the top step... More

We stayed two nights and thought it was great. Very handy to town and the free bus service. The free kitchen was great and we sat out and had a nice time talking to other people traveling. The bathrooms were clean. Yes the buildings are looking a bit dated, but what can you expect. Our contact with the staff was... More

Just so you know; I'm an Australian male and cleanliness is normally the last thing I worry about. I've been road tripping around Oz since August and of all the places we stayed this was the dirtiest. And to make it worse: at $140 for a cabin for a night it was also the most expensive cabin we've stayed in.... More

We stayed here just after the summer holidays for our short visit to fremantle and Perth. We found the place to be quite deceiving as the front entrance and office area had a lovely garden and luscious grass but our powered grass site was not only uneven with a big tree stump in the middle, but also the grass was...
