I chose this place because, let's face it, there's not much else to choose from in Corinth if you want to avoid an antiseptic chain experience. In that regard the Generals' Quarters did not disappoint. It is in old Corinth, downtown, among similar fine old homes. Big trees. Cicada. Birds chirping. The breeze or the rain making soft noises in... More

We stayed in Corinth before heading out to Shiloh Battlefield and the Natchez Trace. We stayed two nights at The Generals' Quarters and found the owners to be very friendly. Our first night's room was not very good but the owners were happy to move us to a better room the second night. Breakfasts were basic and filling. The house,... More

My wife and I just got back from a weekend in Corinth, MS. We were lucky enough to find and stay at the General's Quarters. Luke, Charlotte, & Ginger took great care of us. Our suite was ... well ... sweet, the furnishings were very comfortable and homey. The home overall is decorated eclectically and beautifully restored and cared for.... More

We always look forward to staying at the Generals Quarters and have stayed at the Inn many, many times over the years. As usual, Luke (the owner) was there to greet us upon our arrival (with an offer of fresh baked homemade cookies)! He is genuinely welcoming and kind and always makes us feel right "at home." Our suite was... More

Upon arrival at 3:45 p.m., there was a note on the door with a number to call, with these words, "I will be right over." The call went to voice mail and I left a message and waited 17 minutes outside for which we were not dressed - very hot, humid day. I called a 2nd time and this time... More

.the reason for the note in the door is that I work an extra job,but ,I am only minutes away and can break away at a phone call. When I spoke to your wife I explained this to her and mentioned I would be right there. She said to take my time as you were going to stroll around town.I asked what... Location is what the Generals Quarters has going for it. My wife and I chose to stay here solely based on its proximity to the battlefields of Shiloh and Corinth. We were in Room 6; it was big and had a comfortable king bed. The whole place is rather eclectically decorated. The two breakfasts we had were big and serviceable,... More

I was looking for a place to stay close to the Civil War battlefield at Shiloh and found The Generals' Quarters. Really glad that I did because we didn't have Corinth on our list and found it to be a lovely town and had a really good dinner (Smith's) which our B&B host recommended. There are two lovely old houses... More

You will love the charm of this place. It's located in an historic neighbourhood and is a quick few blocks to the centre of town. While it is very old and does not offer all modern amenities, our room was large and comfortable, though a little warm because of the extreme humidity. There are free snacks and drinks offered with... More

My husband and I stayed in Corinth for 4 nights while we were visiting the Corinth Civil war Interpretive Center and Shiloh National Military Park. The owner graciously upgraded us to Room 3 without extra charge since we were the only ones in the B & B at that time. We had plenty of room in # 3, which was... More

Just perfect! The inn was very clean and welcoming. The innkeeper was very nice and helpful. We stayed in Room 2 and have no complaints. There is a little upstairs porch that was a nice little place to sit in the evening to enjoy our wine. Breakfast was fine and Chef Luke knew we had a long drive ahead, so... More
