New, bright, clean. Staff was very accomodating, and cheerful and willing to help. Breakfast was the usual hot breakfast served by other chain hotels, the breakfast room was bright and cheerful. We would recommend, this hotel whenever in Columbia, and would stay again next time. We were travelling on business, and stayed 5 nights in a Queen Suite.

Jack's Family Restuarant ~ we had a cup of gumbo (served in a large bowl) and salad bar....good value, and was busy on a Thursday night.

New Chopsticks ~ Chinese Buffet, reasonably priced, we are not that fond of chinese food, but thought we could find enough to eat, and we did.

The Back Door ~ downtown, wonderful old building, great food and service. A little more pricier, but well worth it.....busy, busy on a Saturday night.

D-Kays ~ Southern food buffet, opened 7 days a week, not alot open on Sundays, typical southern buffet, reasonably priced, and again found enough to eat. Ate lunch here one... more
