My family and I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn while attending a funeral in Clarksdale. None of us own homes there anymore and have not lived there in decades. Some of my family members have traveled back to Clarksdale over the years but I have not been back in around 7 years. It was an unfortunate reason to have... More

This was our first time in a Comfort Inn, when we checked in we thought the price was a bit high, but the service of the staff was very good, the room was very nice and comfy, the beds were great, nice tv, good wifi and so on !! Breakfast was really great, the choice was awesome, the food was... More

a/c system was so loud we couldn't sleep. room is run down and the bathrooms can't get clean. staff is very friendly, just can't make up for the poor conditions. rips, tears and bad furnishings make this a pass

My family and I were in town for a family reunion and we had stayed at this hotel in years past. We were in the lobby waiting on my mother minding our own business and very excited about attending our family reunion. This woman (Martha Tate, Manager) approached us and said we have had problems with people jumping over the... More

This is a really sad tatty hotel, the beds are really comfy and the rooms are quite but it's in great need of maintenance, we couldn't get through the landing door as the door handle was missing, and had to go to the other end of the hotel to get up the stairs (no lift) the air cons lid has... I really enjoyed my stay. Great bed, quiet halls, fast internet and close to all things Clarksdale. The staff are the real stars! The night clerk gets a gold star from me. I arrived much later than I planned. So it was dark and frightening coming down 61 for the first time alone. I called to make sure my room... More

No elevator, nothing special about breakfast, management is a joke, they overbooked and wanted to send me 39 miles down the road even though I booked 9 months before on first day admissible. Overprice

Welcome to 'the land where the blues began'! Have stayed at the Comfort Inn on State Street every year for past decade. If you're visiting Clarksdale for blues or business, you can't beat the location or value of this hotel. The rooms were recently refurbished, they're clean and the beds are comfortable - what more can you ask? The breakfast... More

Not a lot of choices if you wAnt to be close to downtown. Most within walking distance are sketchy - this is a quick drive and there are taxi services if you're wanting to hit the bars. Rooms are clean, beds comfy, free breakfast ok. Nothing much to complain about for $85 a night. Free wifi too.
