Pip and Nick were on the dock to greet us when we arrived. We were made to feel welcome immediately. Setting was beautiful, quiet but accessible to activities in the Sounds. Food was fabulous! We hiked on th the Queen Charlotte Track which is very close by.

Having read many of the reviews prior to our trip to New Zealand I must say they were not exaggerated this place is every thing expressed by the reviewers and more. I could write pages but that's not my style so I will be brief but clear. We stayed here 2 nights we chose the "celebration package" and was an... More

We recently toured New Zealand staying at 12 hotels including other luxury hotels and serviced apartments. The decision to stay at The Bay of Many Coves was influenced by the positive reviews and our desire to spend a few days chilling out in a 5 star resort. Given the price, which was more expensive than 5 star hotels in Hong... More

If I could give 6 stars to this review I most certainly would. This place was like a dream. My wife and I were on our honeymoon (in fact we still are as I write this review), and we had no idea what to expect. Pip is the manager, and she already was helpful a day before our arrival as... More

We were blown away by Bay of Many Coves from its' fantastic location in the Sounds, to the well appointed individual Villas up the hillside, the fine dining and the friendly and helpful staff. This was a very late addition to our itinerary and we are so glad that we had the opportunity to stay here. Yes, it is more... More

Bay of Many Coves is in a stunning location, and is absolutely lovely in several ways, and yet I can't quite bring myself to award it a rating of 5. I'm not sure I can explain why (perhaps partly it's in fairness to other establishments that I rated slightly harshly, such as the Langham in Auckland and Chateau Marlborough in... More

Thank you for your comprehensive review on your recent stay with us. We are glad there were a lot of positives, including good food, dolphins, views, luxurious accommodation and so on. We do have a lot of different rates and I note you stayed during our peak season, when our rates are at their highest, with only 11 boutique apartments... More

This place is our escape hole - we love it here and every time we come we still go away refreshed! The views are stunning in rain or shine, the wild life wonderful and the food divine. It's not cheap but it is sheer heaven. It's the only place we have ever been back to by choice more than twice!... More

We are so pleased that you find a visit to the Bay of Many Coves worthy of repeating - six times! The contemporary apartments are well appointed and well designed for maximum views of the Bay. We were greeted by Pip and Nick and the resort dog, Merlot - a real character! There were three generations of family in our party of six and we were shown to our accommodation and made to feel very welcome - until it came to dinner time. We were told that "children are not allowed in the restaurant after 7... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with the extended family . We are glad you enjoyed our beautiful location and the kids indeed had a lot of fun with the dog, down on the foreshore. We are sorry that you were offended by the Foredeck Restaurant's restricted approach to very young children dining - and... More

This has to be one of the best luxury treasures in New Zealand. The rooms and location are gorgeous. Add in friendly, attentive staff and its impossible not to be impressed and then there is the food. We have dined around the world but the meals here reached another level. The degustations a must! The dining is intimate as the... More

The team appreciate your comments on the service and the Chefs are thrilled that you enjoyed the cuisine at Breakfast and Dinner.
