Entered the room and notice that it smelled and was hot, we cranked up the air conditioning and left for a couple of hours. 1. Toilet rocked when you sat down on it. Bathroom was scary nasty. 2. Cigarette burn holes in bedspreads. 3. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke and mildew. 4. Drawers broken off fronts of dressers. It was worth 20 more bucks to stay at the Hampton a block away. Our original stay was booked for 2 nights. We only lasted one... more

We had a group of 6 staying in Brookhaven for 3 nights on business. Chose the Days Inn only because other hotels were full of hurricane victims and recovery workers. This was easily the worst place I've ever stayed. I did get a non-smoking room so it didn't smell that bad, but half of our group (all non-smokers) had smoking... more
