My sweetheart and I stayed in this hidden gem prior to taking a cruise from New Orleans. We stayed on a Friday night prior to our departure from New Orleans. We arrived in two cars and they allowed us to park one of our vehicles with them for over a week at no charge. We stayed another night when we... More

We have become regulars at the Inn on Whitworth over the past few months due to business travel in the Brookhaven area. The design, amenities, location, and attention to detail is truly exceptional. I travel extensively and can say that this inn is an ideal combination of contemporary sensibilities with personal touches. Sallie is an innkeeper extraordinaire and is a... More

The the innkeeper (Sally), the accommodations (room, service, communication) and food were remarkable!!! The overall experience was one of the best that I have ever had!! I don't believe that I have every had such wonderful accommodations at such a meager price. Without a doubt, I will arrange another visit...this time, just to relax!!

The Inn on Whitworth is a stylish, friendly home-away-from-home. The architecture and interior design is inviting and calming. The staff is great: generous, friendly, and so helpful. The amenities are extremely welcoming. Thank you! JTC

The Whitworth Inn successfully competes with boutique hotels in large cities. After staying there, it's hard to look at the usual accommodations that are available to business travelers. Nothing else compares, unless you're in an exclusive location in a big city. If you need to go to Brookhaven, stay here. Nowhere else compares to the Whitworth Inn!

This is a very modern Inn but yet charming. It was great to come home each night to our rooms as we were refurbishing a home just outside town. You are downtown and close to several places to eat. So much better than a hotel! Loved all the towns people/family that come in for a cup coffee or conversation. Has... More

The Inn on Whitworth is the type of inn you would expect to find in a much larger city. I love old buildings. It is located in an old mercantile store. That would be the only "old" thing about it. A lot of thought has gone into the beautiful modern interiors. It was quite comfortable and very clean. Sallie, the... More

Everything about our experience was pleasant. Sallie (the innkeeper) was friendly and kind, the room was adorable, and the little gifts in our room plus ability to help ourselves to anything in the kitchen is quite a different experience from the typical hotel experience. A huge perk is that you are within walking distance to Pasta Junction, my favorite Brookhaven... More

Friendly, warm and charming. Melds Old Miss Architecture with Modern art. We were always made to feel right at home. Me as well as my wife were so taken by its charm we are going to visit them again on our trips to Mississippi even though we have relatives there who will gladly make us feel at home. We loved the...
