We had a nice hotel room. There was no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room which was disappointing. The carpet was dirty and the table by the window needed wiping down, it still had spills on it from the last guests. We spent a weekend at the Grand Biloxi...it should be named the Average Biloxi. We had a queen room that was ocean view. We got an offer for a free trip to Biloxi through Harrah's who own the Grand Resort. Having never been to this area we took the trip. The airplane was nicer than the hotel. This hotel is now across the street from the original Grand Biloxie Hotel which was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. They did a good job making it more elegant. It was very clean. The Grand was quite good for what it is and where it is. Biloxi is still rebuilding; and, the Grand is really a "temporary" casino in what was the hotel's conference area. It is small as most have noted, but I don't see that as a negative. Staff in the casino, the hotel, the bar and the restaurants were friendly.... more

The hotel room was nice and had a very comfortable bed and that's where it ended. There is no coffee in the room. They have a nice wireless internet service IF you like to pay $11.50 a day, can you believe that ??? For those of you that are expecting a gulf-front hotel, this is not it. The Grand Biloxi still only has the hotel that is across the street from the original Grand/Casino on the Gulf. They have also built a very small casino adjacent to the hotel. Everything is overpriced - $30/drinks at the 1 bar; the employees are neither helpful... more
