We found the Carroll House on tripadvisor and were so impressed! We stayed in the Sunset Room and loved it. We stayed just one night and arrived Saturday afternoon. The owners were not in the house itself, but they left a number for us to call and directions on how to get in. When we got there, our room was... More

What a wonderful Place to stay in Bay St. Louis. My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect . Jane and Kevin really know how to treat their guest from the wonderful breakfast to advising you on what to do in the area. We loved it so much we are going to reserve the whole house... More

My husband and I needed a weekend away and I found this little gem on the vrbo site. Carroll House also has its own very good website, I just happened upon it elsewhere. We stayed in the cottage. It comprises a bedroom, bathroom, and full kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen was well appointed for four and had anything I can imagine... More

My daughter and I were driving from Austin, Texas to Georgia, and she planned out our road trip. I was so excited to stay somewhere I had not been before. We were not disappointed at all in this gem of a place she found on a travel website. Kevin and Jane were quite the hosts! We arrived after 7:00 on... More

I stayed here recently while on business to avoid the smokey casino hotels. It was my first B&B stay and I was very pleased. It is within walking distance of all the restaurants, water, and stores. Will be going back the next time I am in time.

Located near the beach along the water, the B&B is cozy with a very attentive hostess. The Carroll House is ran by a middle aged couple, who are energized and are able to upkeep the property. The rooms each have special characteristics that cater to different accommodations: couples, small families, etc. The breakfast is simple but hearty. The hostess is... More

The B&B is in the tourist side of town across from a vacant lot in a residential neighborhood. Not much to look at from the outside, but a quaint little place indeed. Nice, clean rooms with plenty of antiques, etc. We stayed in the Sunshine room and it was quite nice. Breakfast was very very good and Jane was a... More

We are so sorry that this guest did not enjoy their stay, we strive to make each guest experience a wonderful one. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of the loss of heat until the next morning, when we promptly provided the guest with a space heater while we investigated the problem. The heat was restored in less than an... More

Our experience at the Carroll House was wonderful. Stay here if you enjoy delicious home cooked breakfasts and beautiful old homes. We stayed three nights in the Sunset Room and were quite comfortable. We arrived very late due to bad weather but that was not a problem with our hosts Jane and Kevin. The house is walking distance to downtown... More

This is my third trip here. I come down from San Diego each Thanksgiving to see my Daughter and Grandsons. I stay at Carroll House because it is two blocks from them and more importantly, I stay because of the hospitality of Jane and Kevin. Its like home away from home. I will be going back next Thanksgiving as well.... More
