Stayed across the street the night before at an awful Quality Inn and moved to this hotel. Despite being very busy, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. I spent three night at the Holiday Inn Winona while on business. The staff was mostly courteuous and attentive. My room was clean and very quiet. It had a small fridge and microwave. We arrived at 2:15pm, check in is 3:00. Were told NO EARLY CHECK IN'S NO EXCEPTIONS. Front desk person didn't even bother to check if the room was ready. I just recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Winona Minnesota while visiting relatives over the September 4th weekend. We all thought the hotel was nice. Clean and Spacious. I live in Winona, and once, just for the fun of it, I spent a night at the Holiday Inn. The service was excellent, the pool was nice and warm, and the food from Green Mill (located right next door) was perfect. I highly recommend this place! more
