This is no longer a Best Western. Still called Riverport Inn, but afilliated with Express. This motel is definitly a cut above the norm. Appears to be quite new, as everything is in good condition and decor is on the upscale side. Room was average size, but nicely furnished, including a frige and microwave. Bathroom was large for a motel,... more

My husband and I stayed in the ’57 Chevy Fantasy Suite. The suite was really cheesy and the layout of the room wasn’t thought out well. For example: When in the hot tub, it wasn’t facing the TV so you couldn’t watch. Also, getting in and out of the Chevy bed was a pain. You had to open the heavy... more

I stay at this Best Western every year while attending a horse show. My rooms have always been large and well appointed, and the staff is always friendly, flexible and helpful. If I were spending hundreds for a room, I might expect a little more, but the Best Western Winona is exactly what should be expected for the price paid. more

I stayed here after taking the Amtrak from Chicago. I had a mini-suite and it was very nice. Clean and comfortable. The front desk people were very young but they were very nice to me (I am middle-aged). I was traveling as a single person. OK, the location between 2 gas stations is not desirable, but I found the place... more

We have stayed at many Best Westerns and have always found them to be great places to stay. I"m surprised that the company would want their name associated with this place. The room was booked with a king bed. Got a Queen instead. When the desk was approached, they were "filled up". Truth was, three rooms either side of ours... more

There were a lot of people staying here the night that I did, and the first problem was the lack of a place to park. A commercial trailer was taking up at least 5 spaces, and the management should have anticipated the parking problem with their full house. The staff was pretty much under 30, and there was a lot... more

I stayed here for one night over the Memorial Day weekend. The place was a good value for the price. Winona is a beautiful city and my room had a great view of Suger Loaf. The room was clean and what you would expect. There was wireless internet in the room and I would stay there again. The continental breakfast... more

I disagree with the businessman from Chicago. My room was clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable. Had oversized leather chair for relaxing. TV was typical for a hotel. There was a college football team staying there and there was no noise problems. Hotel is conveniently located to the highway. Proximity to stores and restaurants a plus in my book.... more

First let me say that I have stayed a many Best Western Hotels in the past and have been overall satisfied with my stays. But this Best Western was different...in a bad way. I stayed at this dive on a business trip. I had the unfortunate luck of a room on the first floor. Here's what was wrong with this... more
